    Yes, he was. Foreman dropped his WBA strap instead of fighting Tucker, then his IBF instead of a rematch with Schulz.

    As for Moorer-Schulz...I had it an 8-4 for Moorer. I don't know why on earth that judge had Schulz winning it, but it was a pretty dull fight so maybe that was part of it. Really, it was a case of Moorer getting lazy in there for a few rounds rather than Schulz making a big comeback or anything, but it still seemed a clear UD to me.

    But Foreman-Schulz, yeah, Axel was hard done by that night.
    He should've been on the ist of non-US HW champs. Interesting that there are so few guys on it, isn't it?

    Love to claim him but Kilrain was American.
    BTW the claims of Maher and Sharkey are nearly always overlooked but are as good(or bad) as loads of the post 1980's mob.
