I'll get into a rik-shaw labelled "If Joe wins I'll give him his due as the best but still be disappointed with his career"

I never used to watch much of Calzaghe before the Lacy fight. Since then however I have been impressed with his speed and combination punching, and I think he is just the more well rounded fighter then Kessler. I am picking Joe to take a narrow UD. I think it will be a hell of a fight, but the speed of JC will be too much. Kessler CANNOT fight backing up either, and like most Euorpean fighters looks very uncomfortable in close quarters. If Joe can work inside he will over welm him with combinations.

I think that the way Joe Calzaghe throws his punches in close quarters is very effective, and would be very hard to counter. Roy Jones, and Sugar Ray to a greater extent could do simlar things at times, using less powerful but faster punches to bombard their opponent and prevent them from throwing punches back. I once sparred a guy who was a regional Panpac champion, southpaw also, who would "shoe shine" me in sparring. The punches although not hard, hurt me more then any big punch, because it rocks your head so quickly back and forwards. I almost got knocked out one time getting hit with about 10-15 of these punches in about 3-4 seconds, and was absolutely legless. I imagine fighting JC would be much similar, only 10 times worse.

Kessler knows how to box southpaws, when Mads Larsen was kesslers trainingpartner he learned about how to handle southpaws.
I dont know he´s gameplan, but i think he will be all over J.C from round one.
I think joe will have difficulties getting inside kessler.
mikkel altso have fast hands, and i belive that kesler will knock him out, when joe try to get inside.
i think joe belives that kessler is slowly like lacy......
IF they get a ref. that don´t stops the fight because of some slapping...
then i think kessler wins it,after a great fight.
