I want to know where all of those KLIT-ites are at who were saying Haye is a joke, for even thinking about fighting Hasim Rahman, after what James "Lights Out" Toney did to him...:-(

Late substitutes are always bad....but yeah you do have a point :D

When WALDO KO'd Rahman just wait for the "WALDO is better than Lewis" bull**** to be spouted...it's the Klit-ite way, as you know.

Probably sat back thinking - ok lets see. This is a genuine test for Haye, the guy is trying to spark the HW division into life - we can't judge until after the event but its a solid match up

Haye is fighting Barrett who is a level below even Rahman so i don't think you have a solid argument here.

It's a replacement for an opponent who had to pull out with serious injuries, who else do you have in mind?

    whatever *****.

It is when David Haye was crucified for thinking about that fight, for his HW debut (sort of) but the champ can fight him no problem...kiss my ass.

If Haye would be laughed at for fighting him, WLAD is going to have to deal with the same thing. If this is true, he was fully aware of the justified criticism he'd face.

Im right here, and i for one think its a horrible fight....

That being said... its a REPLACEMENT fighter cuz his original undefeated contender opponent pulled out.... i would have rather he fought james toney, but really at THIS POINT the selection was small.

That being said... Monte IMO wouldnt even beat Rock, so although Haye was taking **** (only because hes talking so much ****) about fighting rock, instead he fights someone even lower on the totem poll

Which i for one dont mind imo hes doing the right thing, but im just saying

It's a farce, Rahman quits and gets rewarded with a title-shot... Rahman will quit again after he eats the first jab. Wlad should have found a better opponent, I mean Valuev fights in december (against Holyfield...), a unification could have been made if enough cash was on the table, alternatively James Toney could have got the fight, he fights on the same night against another tall fighter in Tony Thompson, Toney would take the fight in Germany if the money is right, regardless of what people say... JC Gomez, Eddie Chambers - hell, even Golota would have been better opponents than Rahman...

    No.

This is not a quesion of all time status. At this point, Monte is more dangerous than Rahman.

Think I see your point, but to be honest Haye was looking for Rahman to 'introduce' himself to HW - Wlad has him as only one of very few options ], no scandal

I never said Haye was a joke for wanting to fight Rahman, I thought it would be a decent fight. I dont know of any reasonable Klitschko fan that really said otherwise, disregarding the usual idiots.

You are directing your hate at nothing but the ignorant fans of the sport, in the same vein as the Floyd Boys, and *******s who believe their fighter to be the second coming of Christ. Frankly most the of the Klitschko fans on ESB are fairly reasonable.

Um... based on WHAT exactly? His being raped by valuev, knocked out by Couser?

I certainly hope its not his stoppage of tye.. (which im happy Monte won, i like monte)

but theres really nothing to base your opinion on... maskaev beating rock says nothing about monte.... neather does the toney fight, as the first toney fight came within half a year just about as when monte fought and lost to rock...

they are both on the same level just about at this point... but rock is a better opponent given that at least hes a higher rank all time then monte.... if your going by whos more dangerous, it STILL has to be rock because at least he can still somewhat hurt you if he lands, monte isnt really a power puncher at the world stage.

besides.. your nitpicking... Wlads time is short to pick a replacement for the same date, there are not a lot of options... he chose rock, i dont like it, but its not like this fight was set up this way, it happened because his opponent pulled out.
