He argues that Dawson is really a cruiserweight, and that it would be a dangerous move up in weight. He says Kessler deserves more money etc. He has a point, but i really think it would be a good fight when it all sums up - and for both fighters... Thoughts...?
Good move on Team Kessler. No point in letting their cash cow get beat up again. No way Kessler can hang with a Chad dawson.
Dawson is really a Cruiserweight? LOL. Even Decebal says Dawson could probably cut down to 170ish...or even lower. Kessler's people are scared, and they are right to be.

Kessler should take the fight, it would get him good exposure in the US. Chad isn't really a Criuiser weight, not too long ago he was in SMW. I think it would be a very winable fight for Kessler. Dawson don't like too much pressure, and Kessler is able to keep a good pressure with a high workrate, also Dawson has a weak chin and Kessler could well KO him.
As I have just stated in another thread I am very afraid that Palle is trying to push Kessler into the German market. I hope this is not true, but the signs are there. He's been fighting Sartison who is a germany based fighter. Then defends his newly won title against Hausler who is a mediocre fighter, but well known in Germany. I really hope Kessler puts his foot down and demands a fight against Bad Chad cause i don't think for one minute that Kessler is afraid of him. Mind you it would be a close fight. Edit: I'm watching the Danish sports news right know where Palle is stating that Kessler only moves up in weight for Hopkins or Calzaghe. What bull****. I hope Chad Dawsons management and HBO will put the screws on Palle.
If he wants to pull a rule a divison move thats one thing. But, it shows that you dont think you can beat the best. I agree though there are a lot of fights to be made at smw. What this shows though is that Kessler's team does not beleive in him as an elite..ATG type fighter. Hes certainly not going to get any younger/better.
