    Margarito by clear UD.

Maybe this is the fight we see a tough guy like Mosley finally stopped.

No stoppage. I think Mosley is going to give Marg fits. Those over hand rights could also be affective for Mosley. Marg by decision.

Mosley via UD or SD. Sugar Shane uses his skillset to outbox and confound the onrushing Margarito.

I think the best chance might be to stink it out for Mosley. Beat Margarito to the punch with his quick shots, and then tie him up. Mosley's still pretty fast, and strong. He's been more happy to clinch lately anyway. It's much tougher for an older fighter to go at such a fast pace, not everyone can be Calzaghe, so we've been seeing him clinch quite a bit more.

I don't think Mosley will win, but he might be best off making the fight ugly and dull as possible.

idk, mosley isn't really out of it just yet. but if a tip top margo is fighting that night, he'll win by split decision. mosley and cotto are imo pretty even fights with miguel having a more effective jab rather than a pawing one. mosley also matches miguel powerwise and i'm sure he'll go for margos body this time. margos best punch is his uppercut, which is shane's weakness. shane has one of the best chins out there lets not forget about that, better than cotto's so i have this fight a pickem, but margo should get the job done.

What do we think of Mosley's jab at this point?

Exciting fight, but this fight is an easy pick. Mosley doesnt have the stamina to deal with Margaritos constant onslaught for 12 rounds. Margarito clear UD.

It is effective when he wants to use it.

I think his jab will not be good enough against Margarito. I fear for Mosley, to be honest. I think he could get broken down.

He's got the legs though, still, I think.

Credit to Sugar Shane for taking on a beast that so many marquee fighters have avoided. He may need a miracle though to subdue Margarito. Margarito is so dangerous he scared Floyd into "retirement"/hiding. And Margarito has that promise that De La Hoya will "definitely" fight him in 09. Can't imagine Margarito blowing that jackpot by losing to Mosley. Will be a guaranteed exciting war for sure.

At the moment - my opinion is that Sugar will struggle to avoid being stopped.

If Mosley can somehow fight at least like he did against Cotto I'll give him a chance, but in the Mayorga fight he looked terrible so I hope that was just a really bad night for Mosley.

  14. **** i hope this comes off without a hitch, i like Shane on points, he's faster, better footwork, and can outbox Margo, but this one should be sweet..:smoke

If he gets broken down or stopped, it will be his last fight. If he wins, it opens up the door for a Cotto rematch. Wish him luck, he has given us many good fights.
