What a match up , i cant decide a winner for this one although im leaning towards Foreman!

Also i can see Foreman winning early on, Tyson was a Joe Frazier fighter and would walk straight on to Foremans Thundering Punches !

I think Tyson would last longer than Joe but I think Foreman knocks him out.

Well, Foreman showed he could get off the canvas to win.

Ali really stopped him by sheer exhaustion and the mind**** of the century. After being knocked down Foreman simply got up and walked to his corner. Some think he actually beat the count but even if he did he wouldn't have contested it. He didn't WANT to continue.

I think that's what he does here. Gets off the canvas to win.

Anyway, being physically stronger then Tyson was a good place to start. He definitely liked fighting a very certain way, and when you took him out of that, like Holyfield, he had trouble.

Holyfield pushed him backwards a lot in that fight. Really offset Tyson.

I like Foreman by KO. Foreman in his prime was a wrecking machine. The only way to beat him was like Ali did. In their primes, I would give Larry Holmes and Lennox Lewis a good chance against Foreman as well. But Foreman is just all wrong for Tyson.

Does anyone here feel that Foreman's complete gassing in the unbearable heat, from overexerting himself, was pretty similar to Robinson against Maxim?

Not good to go balls to the walls in killer heat... And both fighters lost because of this.

'73 Foreman needed to finish his work inside of 5 rds, after that, Foreman was done and looking for a shower...... '88 Tyson beats '73 Foreman in my book..... Prior to 1992, Mike Tyson still had stamina... Tyson did not lose his stamina until he got to be about 30 years of age.... The 1990-'94 version of George Foreman kills Tyson in a regular sized ring.... Peace....

I think Tyson's speed would of made the difference. Plus Foreman's defense was not that great.

Foreman by brutal one or two round KO. Not sure which row Tyson lands in, but at least the second or third. Tyson wouldn't be able to intimidate Big George and would be out of the fight after the first punch.

    Hmm.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say prime Tyson TKO's 1973 Foreman but loses a razor-thin UD to "prime" comeback Foreman.

I think Foreman wins this by KO within 4 rounds. Stylistically I think Foreman is all wrong for Mike.
