Would Margo be able to walk though Titos shots???

I was talking to my father-in-law and his brother today at Turkey Day dinner, and they started going on about Margo and how he could take shots from heavyweights...Then I said heavyweights?? Hell He would walk thought Tito's shots...Now being that Im married to a Mexican lady that didnt go over very well, my wifes uncle said did you see was he did to that other G-- Damn Puerto Rican guy(Cotto) No Puerto Rican can beat him...I told him he was crazy if he thought that Margo would walk to Tito and take shots...I think that Tito would knock his fuking head off...And that **** went on for about two hours, at one point it was five vs me going one about how Margo would eat everything Tito had and stop him in the late rounds...

Am I alone here...Maybe Im wrong, but I dont think that anyone can walk to Tito and take his shots unless they are supermiddles or higher...

 

No way would he walk through them like he did with Cotto.

 

Tito would knock Margarito's ass back to El Salvador.

 

Tito has way more power than Cotto.. Margo will go to sleep.

Look at what happened to Mayorga before he was shot. Trinidad was the first to REALLY break Mayorga down.

Some of his power came from the handwrapping...so I'm assuming this is during his pre-Hopkins days...then yea...he'd put him to sleep easily

Tito had much better lateral movement and wasn't as short as Cotto...so the job wouldn't be as hard to tag him

 

its hard to say really...i mean after Hopkins exposed this "myth" he began a losing streak and hasn't come back from it since...because every following opponent requested a person to moniter his hand wrapping and he no longer had as much pop...

 

I don't know mate, Joppy and Vargas said those punches felt like brick :deal .

Maybe he hits hard because of the cast handwrap :rofl . After the Hopkins fight where his handwrap has been monitor :nono , he hasn't been hitting that hard :scaredas: . Even Mayorga gave him two free shot and Mayorga was still standing :deal :scaredas: .

 

Mayorga wasn't as broken of a fighter that he is today...Mayorga never suffered such a devastating KO in his career prior to Tito (his first pro fight ended in a KO but it wasn't as brutal as the Tito fight)

 

Maybe, but you have no way of proving he did. I assume your whole objective is to actually prove he used wraps and not use hear say (which is what you're doing), right? ....

Hand wraps are always monitored before each fight, especially at the higher level. Boxing can't afford another Resto - Collins incident. The fact is, hand wraps were never an issue until Hopkins brought it up. ....

The last 5 fights Trinidad has won, he won by TKO. The last 3 losses have been to Hopkins, Wright, and Jones (At LHW) Hopkins put on a Pavlik like performance, Wright barely got hit at all against Trinidad, and Trinidads power is a non factor at LHW. ....

This proves nothing except that Mayorga had a hell of a chin. ....

I'll go ahead and say yes, Margo would be able to walk through Tito's punches for 12 rounds, but I wouldn't be shocked if Margo was hurt a couple of times throughout the fight.

 

:good He did have a great chin before Tito, the Forrest fights prove how good jaw was, the guy was tough as nails until Tito ruined him.

 

Tito would knock his ****ing head off just like he did Mayorga.
