...and watching it closely it was truly a clinic of 2 great boxing technicians.anyway here is how I had it: Round 1-10-9 Mayweather clearly Round 2-10-9 de la Hoya clearly Round 3-10-9 Mayweather close Round 4-10-9 de la Hoya close Round 5-10-9 Mayweather clearly Round 6-10-9 Mayweather close Round 7-10-9 de la Hoya clearly Round 8-10-9 Mayweather close Round 9-10-9 Mayweather clearly Round 10-10-9 Mayweather clearly Round 11-10-9 Mayweather clearly Round 12-10-9 de la Hoya clealry Total:116-112 Mayweather I thought Mayweather clearly won the fight but if you really liked Oscar's activity and aggression you could score it for him(giving him all close rounds) 7-5.If you like Mayweather's precission punching and clean shots you can score it for him(giving him all close rounds) 9-3. I hava ne problem with the SD but Mayweather as much as he ran and didn't work that much he punched really clean and with Oscar's energy going down he realy unloaded on him.Oscar did put a good effort vs the p4p4 best at the time and had it about even fight at the middle point but he clearly ran out of gas and didn't do anything in the 9th,10th and 11th.
when i first watched it i had oscar winning and i stick to that again his aggression and activity definately convinced me
I kinda leaned to that watching it live to abd the first time safter....now I think Mayweather won it but if you like Oscar better I have no problem but he didn't win more than 7
116-112 is right on, possibly 115-113 if you really like the aggression from Oscar but Mayweather was the clear winner.
Nope,if you score all the close rouds to Oscar you can have him winning, like judge Kaczmarek ad it.7-5 and no more than that.
floyd took it. that oscar gassed out that's his problem, but i did have the fight even up to the middle rounds. not a bad performance from dlh despite being past his prime
