Holmes did not quit like a dog against Bobick. The olympic commitee was originally forcing Holmes to fight at light heavy. They then, on short notice, positioned him at heavyweight. He was too light for the fight and got beat but did not quit. Anyone that knows Holmes knows he never had any dog in him.

 

Holmes was very much dogged with being a dog because of the Bobick fight, early on. Hence the amazing Norton performance where Holmes sucked it up and did not cry off with a torn bicep and got the job done and redemption to boot.
