Good objective post. Those who say PBF easily are definitely nuthuggers. Those who say KT easily are also probably huthuggers, although it is not unimaginable (more unlikely) that PBF would be KTFO in 3 rounds. A pick'em fight for the ages.
I would respond, but your ignorance is too bliss for me. Since when did Kostya become Superman lol...
What does beating Forrest in the amateurs have to do with anything? Kostya is not in Floyd class, and this is my last thread on the matter. You guys are overrating an overrated fighter. Hurtado had him out, Phillips put his lights out, and Hatton made him quit, and you want us to believe he could beat Floyd???:rofl
Ahhh. I see. Well it's nice that you have your opinion. It's kind of sad to me that a person can have such illformed, ignorant opinions about a fighter as good as he was. Fortunately the many other posts in this thread that display some actual thinking on the matter make me feel o.k.. Well said. You obviously watched the fight closely.
a prime judah was outboxing tszyu pretty bad before the ko happened. i can see floy avoiding the right of kostya and landing very clean punches. kostya very strong and fast at times, but floyd's footwork the big difference here. i also wouldn't rule out a late round stoppage, but would lean more in favor of a ud.
Yeah, look I'd reply to all these 'points', but just looking at a couple of them in isolation reveals how clueless you are and why I shouldn't bother. Kostya wasn't technically broken down in either of these fights. He gassed. Basically got to the point where he couldn't fight back and the fight was ended. But in niether case was he out boxed or out anything prior to running out of energy. Hatton mugged him for 11 round but Tszyu competed quite well, considering, and was on top in the middle of the fight. Against Phillips he was clearly the dominant fighter throughout, but he gassed and was knocked out defenceless (but still slugging). His losses reveal some real weakness - stamina and ego. Tszyu cannot stand up to sustained quality pressure, his body gives out on him dramaticaly in the late rounds, and his pride/stupidity/whatever prevents him from maing a strategical retreat. He has weakness', but technical vulnerability is not one of them. Tszyu has never been outboxed in his career. That's just a completely infantile thing to say. As if you can make a generalisation about what happens when you 'try to box with Mayweather' based on the Gatti example. Judah 'boxed' with Floyd quite well for 6 rounds, there you go, there's another pointless comment.
Judah has hardly ever lost a first round and Tszyu has hardly ever won one. Tszyu was winning the second round easily until the K.O. happened at 2:50. The fact that Tszyu took the second round off Zab who always looks brilliant for the first half of the fight speaks well for Tszyu.
I think Tszyu has a fairly good chance here. Tszyu was a sharpshooter, if guys like Zab were able to land very clean shots at times, you have to assume that Tszyu would as well which makes this a toss up and I slightly favor Tszyu. Tszyu's biggest weakness was his own punch resistance, I'm not saying Floyd is an especially light puncher, but not the type of fighter that mauls his opponents. In a match where there would be a lot of pot shot, sharp shooting going on, you have to respect Tszyu's power, accurate punching and his chances.
Not even a comparison.....Floyd without a doubt either KO's him or decsions him in a one sided affiar.
WTF are you talking about...do you even know KT's style or seen his fights. He is less of a pressure fighter and more of a counter puncher. He pushes the action b/c he isn't good off his back foot....KT needs to be going forward or have his feet planted to maximize his strenghts...i.e his power. Floyd dominated Hatton who is a far more relentless type of pressure fighter.
