nnnnnnnope. I think part of the reason behind his success as of the past few years, and not seeming like he has aged, is partly due to the weight class he is in

also...doesn't have the power. At heavyweight, power (knock out power that is) is crucial in victory as well as the public eye that deems a good heavyweight

I think if a fat Toney could still be competitive a in shape Hopkins could do fairly well.
He does not have the size to compete with a Klitschko but i could see him beat some decent heavies.
He would be an absolute nightmare to hit for a heavy with slow hand speed.

He lacks the necassary power to do damage at heavyweight.

he was looking for a fight with maskaev if i remember.

he would of won i think. he has a very strong defence and doesnt really rely that much on his hieght and strength to win his fights only technique.

No. I do think he could have beaten Maskaev had he fought him back in 2006 like he said he might do, but he'd be even more lethargic with all that extra muscle mass, and he sure as hell ain't beating any of the current title holders.

Way too late in the game for him to even attempt this.

Maybe a few years ago yeah. I wouldn't ever count B-Hop out because when I do he makes me look even stupider than I already am.
