Well, you have three champions and one "more than viable" contender.

Give your vote and opinion on who you think will emerge as the undisputed super bantamweight champion.

    1. WBA and IBF Champion Celestino Cabbelaro
    2. WBC Champion Israel Vazquez
    3. WBO Champion Juan Manuel Lopez
    4. Rafael Marquez

Juanma beats all of them right now.

    - Rafael Marquez is on the small side for 122 and has already shown that his chin isn't top notch there. Juanma has significantly more power and speed than Vasquez, and while Marquez would probably outbox Juanma, I expect Juanma to eventually knock out Marquez.

    - Stylistically, Vasquez plays right into Juanma's stylistic strengths. He's not a fighter who sticks and moves well, and if he stays in front of Juanma to apply pressure the way he usually does, he will eventually get worn down by Juanma's heavy punches. Also, I question whether Izzy will be at 100% after being in three wars and having some eye problems. Prime Juanma beats Izzy who's on the downside of his career.

    - Caballero actually poses the toughest challenge for Juanma, simply because he's a stylistic nightmare for just about anyone. However, Caballero has shown he has problems with pressure fighters with a good power/speed combination, having already lost to two lesser versions of Juanma in Rojas and Cordoba. As long as Juanma doesn't become tentative because of Caballero's awkwardness (which might be a real issue), he should be able to outpress Caballero and attack him to the body over and over. I think he'd win on points, taking over in the late rounds.

Vasquez is already undisputed super bantamweight champion. The others are just the challengers.

Does any boxing fan or expert dispute that Vasquez is the real champ in the division?

He's the lineal champ and the ring champ, but he's not undisputed (i.e. holds all four belts, or three if you don't view the WBO as a real belt).

If they had a tournament with those four guys in it, I'd be pretty confident that Juanma would win. head to head, he's top 5 P4P right now, IMHO. He just doesn't have the names on his resume yet to get ranked on a P4P list.

imo undisputed is more than just gaining the 4 belts.

I don't think even the other title holders would deny that Vasquez is the true champ. When noone disputes your claim as the champion in a division, then you are the undisputed champion.

We will know soon enough, but for now its

    1)Vazquez
    2)Marquez
    3)JMLopez
    4)Caballero

However i see a match between any of the above very soon, especially with Vazquez-Marquez IV being thrown out by Showtime.

I think IZZY's style beats them all

MArquez is a natural bantie making noise

    JuanMa is on the rise

Caballero is the late Chico part two

    my current ranking:
    1. vazquez
    2. marquez
    3. juanma
    4. caballero

but soon, i know that juanma will be no. 1, because izzy and marquez are not in their prime anymore (i think). caballero will be his toughest opponent

Right now I'd still tip Izzy over all challengers. Past 2010 or so this division belongs to Lopez.

    Juanma has the best chance.

As a Concepcion fan hopefully he will soon be included in the discussion.

take into consideration that izzy vacated the ibf title rather than fight his mandatory celestino,i think he may not agree with you.
