    Damn he sparked that fool!

    Edit:

Wait a ****in minute! Did you see the right hand that CRUSHED Duran? I don't give a **** what you fools say about Margarito's chin.

His chin aint that much better than Duran's, and ne would get hit with that type of shot AT LEAST 10 times in the first 4 rounds. ****, Margarito would stand a good chance of getting seriously hurt ****in with the HitMan!

Out of curiosity, how much better is Tony's chin than the legendary Roberto Duran's? Because Duran fell flat on his face in round 2. Why does Tony's rate as higher?

Being serious, Tony is as tough a guy as you'll find and has a tremendous chin, but no welterweight can take everything Tommy can dish out. That means that in order to survive you either have to be good enough defensively to outpoint Tommy or bomb him out quickly and hope his chin betrays him.

As good as Maragrito is, he's way too open defensively against Tommy. Ko by round 5 or before unless Hearns hurts his hands.

Margarito's chin ain't that much beter than Duran's, if at all. And his defense is not as good. And the way he fights in the early rounds would ****ing put his life in danger against the motha****in Hitman. :dead

Can you see Margo taking the kind of right hands that Hearns fed Duran? And taking them all night? :bart

I think it would look somewhat like Santos vs. Margaritos first round, they meet up, both guys throw and Margarito gets caught.

Only with Hearns, he gets shockingly knocked out.

And fought all the way up to, what, Light Heavyweight? (and went the distance). Whose only other legit stoppage loss was to Joppy 14 years after the Hearns bout?

    What's your point?

i don't like the way people rate retired fighters as though their some kind of machines! Hearns would be margarito on a UD in my opinion. With hearns having to keep his distance. But if margo catches his with a full shot..hearn goes down. So it would be closer than ya'll think.

If Margarito takes his powerhouse shots, I see Tommy getting worn out by the later rounds.

I agree about the heightened sense of nostalgia that people rate fighters with...:good

However, looking at he styles, the level of defensive skill of Margarito, the power of Hearns, and the way Margarito starts his fights early... I would stand by my opinion of a 6 to 9 round KO by Hearns. He could keep his distance and throw ANY ****ING THING HE WANTED.
And the minute Margo gives him the opening... :iak

And by the way.. You're now saying that Hearns has a better chance of geting KTFO than Margarito?!?!?! Interesting. :huh

    exactly,
like if fighters today are made of milk cartons or something...

I ****EN HATE FLOYD TO DEATH, but no way do i think any atg walks right past him....it is what it is man, and most ol skool fight fans need to realize that the old fighters weren't made of steel, and many forget that even then, they all had a couple of bad fights, and gifts too...:deal

This is Hagler/Hearns all over again!

Margarito handles Hearns initial onslaught to stop him within 4 rounds!

    Easy fight to predict!
