He's still a damn good fighter. At 34 he was the second fighter to have truly tested Mayweather. NO other fighters took it to Mayweather's ass better than Castillo and DLH.

If he loses everyone will say he is shot and should retire, If he wins he was picking on the smaller guy. no one will give him credit.

Oscar is far from a bad fighter. He just didn't live up to the golden expectations that some people had. He also had so many questionable decision wins and losses (Whitaker, Quartey, Trinidad, Mosley II, Sturm). Of course that isn't his fault. But anyway, I like Oscar. He is a skilled, classy fighter who fought the best of his generation. He has never really been beaten up or humiliated. I think Oscar stops Manny late in an entertaining fight. I will be rooting for Mr. Pacquiao.

He's a damn good fighter for sure - I think people focus on the fact that he only fights once a year and promotes fights and makes big money now rather than actually appreciate the things he's achieved as a fighter.

People like to make out he's just a money-hungry mercenary who will fight anyone for a buck, but the fact is that he's fought some great opposition and beaten them, and really only lost to the best - and even that is being put into perspective now with revelations that SSM was on the gear when they fought the second time.

EDIT: just to clarify, I think he won vs Tito, and losing to Hopkins and PBF is nothing to be ashamed of.
