McCallum was a great light middle, while PBF only flirted with De La Hoya and was pushed very close.

McCallum grinds out a comfortable lead on the way to a pts win.

Mccallum would win pretty comfortably, either late stoppage or wide points win

I'd say McCallum punishes Floyd to the body, doesn't drop him, but Uncle Rog' pulls him out before the 9th/10th round can start.

It would be a battering, though I'd expect Floyd to be flashy in the middle rounds once he's figured Mike out. Then McCallum would come on strong again and show us just why he's known as The Body Snatcher!

This 1 goes into the realm of 'who knows', we haven't seen FMJ with anyone who's got the size of McCallum. Delahoya's the nearest and he looked allot bigger, McCallum would be even stronger at the weight. Some are saying FMJ struggled I had him winning 9-3 and he outlanded DLH 2-1 and staggered him.

The nearest stylistic match up for McCallum is Toney, who's 2 inches taller, stronger, hits harder, better chin but with less stamina/speed and perhaps skill

It all hinges on if FMJ's power gets McCallum's respect and if FMJ can take McCallum's shots without being too hurt. I'd expect FMJ's speed to win him the early rounds before McCallum's size advantage kicks in

Theoretically if FMJ can handle the weight/size he has a chance, if he can't then expect him to spoil and lose a UD while knicking a few rounds

Not sure if Toney has the 'better' chin. Whilst he did go up to HW McCallum was never stopped, fought Jones up at LHW (far from his best weight) and also fought a young, JMW destroyer by the name of Julian Jackson; took his bombs, then took him out in the 2nd.

I'd say equal chins. They've both taken punches and never been stopped, and I actually think McCallum is the better of the two. More consistent.

I meant Toney has the better chin than Mayweather

    Nope.

Floyd hasn't fought anybody as good as McCaullum, let alone fighting him at a weight he's only ever fought at once before. Either Mike wins on a clear points verdict, or he stops the much smaller Floyd late on.

Agreed. To add to that, McCallum was an intelligent, cagey boxer.

Then you should see what he's said about Arguello on the top 10 lw thread! nothing short of ludicrous!!!

BTW, can;t believe no one is interested in my Jofre-Gomez thread lol. has it been done before???

mcallum mayweather would be a bit of a mismatch due to the size. no way mayweather could possibly hurt mcallum, while floyd would no way be able to run for 12 rounds against this machine.

Would do you disagree with sweet cheeks? Or are you not bright enough to figure that out pumpkin? For the record I'd guess McCallum wins a wide UD
