I mean with odds at 3/2, thats gotta be the pick. People keep saying how Oscar will knock Pac out but Pac's defense is underrated and much sharper punchers than Oscar have had trouble landing on him. Also Oscar's right hand is not his sharpest tool and also he fades in the later rounds. That being said, Oscar's size and strength will not allow Pac to throw as many punches as he likes to and Oscar will wins most of the rounds. Pac will also look more tired than usual down the stretch Oscar 8 rounds to 4 or 9 rounds to 3.
Oscar will go out like a mad man and try and kill Pac imo because the longer this fight goes the more damage Oscars reputation and legacy takes.
sorry man thats just not his style at all and thats not what Nacho Beristain will have trained him to do at all either
Oscar will want this fight over as quickly as possible imo. If he feels Pac is weak and has no respect for Pac he'll take him out early.
It'll go to the cards. OScar has the power to stop Manny but that Power will not land on the sweet spot and will not be coming at Manny fast enough to catch him off guard. don't forget what people always say and thats that the punches that knock you out are the ones you don't see coming.
Pac has good footwork and head movement. if Oscar rushes at him like a bull, Pac is good enough to play the matador for a few rounds.
The odds can be misleading. Asians are notorious gamblers, and are probably betting down the odds. The same thing happened when Floyd fought Hatton. The Brits came over here and bet down the odds to under 2/1. I would not bet Oscar UD simply based on the odds.
Is that what do think i'm doing. You can't just bet blindly and not take the odds into consideration. Just cause i consider the odds doesn't mean i'm betting simply based on the odds. IMO 3/2 is pretty damn good odds for what I consider should be about even odds. As for Asian betting down the odds, they are betting down the odds on Pacquiao, and I am backing Oscar to win, so its in my favour
I expect Oscar to drop Pac if not KO him with body shots. Then we'll see how good his footwork is and how fast he is.
