Us Americans know Haye has a Glass Jaw. It is the Brits that keep telling us AFTER we point out some of the things you mention in your post as evidence of a Glass Jaw that Haye does not have a Glass Jaw.

Haye is going to gat that Glass Jaw shattered as soon as he fights Vitali Klitschko. If you want to see a preview of that fight watch the Vitali vs Herbie Hide fight.

Look, you are getting carried away. Does Haye have a chance against Wlad? Of Course he does. But there isnt a single bit of evidence to suggest that Wlad will not fight Haye. He has stated several times that he wants the fight. And whatever you say about Wlad, the guy has never ducked away from a fight against anyone.

It's not about Haye, it's about the boxing fans who go round saying "Haye's gonna get knocked out YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST LOLZ!" who are the object of my frustration. The people who are more interested in being pronounced some sort of boxing genius than they are with an exciting fight. The ones who CONSTANTLY go on about Haye's vulnerability as if it's a bad thing, when in actual fact it's just about the only thing that makes the Heavyweight division worth watching at the moment.

That's the point. If you miss it, I may write a big long whining tract about you too.

Nobody doubts that Haye is good or that he may even capture a HW belt. What people doubt is his ability to be consistently good in the hardest hitting division of boxing. These giant heavyweights emerging from the former soviet union are not only big and well coached, they can flat out punch like mules can kick and bring not only hunger, but a caveman like toughness not previously seen in professional boxing. Haye, is in my opinion, a typical black heavyweight. Good athlete, good speed, good power, and knows how to be loud and proud and intimidates many boxers with his physique. He lacks skill, technique, toughness, and discipline. Eastern European boxers lack "the look", with the exception of Wladimir, but have power, toughness, skill, technique, discipline and some even have speed. Not only that, unlike American white boxers who look across the ring, see a black man, and are immediately intimidated, these guys look across the ring, see a black man, and go into great white shark mode with the pure intention of killing the poor guy. The "lack of respect towards black athletes by Eastern European (and Latino) Athletes" is of such a big concern to the NAACP, that they have made it a topic of discussion in several national meetings. They have actually lobbied to try and stop the influx of these other athletes into the various professional sports programs here in the US. But that's another subject. David Haye is not special. David Haye is not the one. David Haye is not the next Tyson. David Haye is not the next Lewis. David Haye is a good boxer, but he will never be a great one because he lacks all the tools necessary to achieve greatness. If he doesn't have them now, he never will.

people always will hate because they are jealous. esb posters constantly rip haye, khan, arreola, klitschkos, calzaghe...list goes on.....most people hate success of other people....
haye especially is hated because he is a damn good looking dude/model, ripped to shreds...cocky, and mostly english. but i give the guy props for "almost" cleaning up cruisers (wish he would have fought cunningham) but going to heavyweight and giving it a much needed shot in the ass! my props to HAYE

Y'know, as sad as this sounds, that is the one thing that being on this forum has shown me most of all; America is a country that is obsessed with race.

In Britain we're obsessed with a) Class and b) Nationalist parochialism (england vs scotland v wales v northern ireland etc) but in the US it's all about race. It's a cultural thing.

And for the record, I dont want to come accross as an anti-american racist ****, I do love the United States sincerely, it just ****s my head at times, that's all.

I'm far from hung up on race. I don't care if Haye if black, brown, orange, yellow or tutti frutti colored (which I think he is). I don't think the man is the complete package and lacks the ability to acquire the complete package. I think Wlad is closer to being the complete package than Haye ever will be. Haye reminds me of Rahmann in many ways because he relies solely on natural talent. There is next to no skill and he's not afraid to show that. The problem with that is what happens when you run into someone you can't knock out? If you can't box, your screwed. And guess what? Haye can't box.

    I Agree
Haye is the most exiting Heavyweight on the planet right now bar none,
I have yet to see a boring Haye fight and probably never will.
He may not beat the Klitschko's but it will be entertaining and a damn sight better than any Heavyweight title fight in the last 5 year's.

It is a matter of socialisation, cobbler. In most societies around the globe respectful behaviour and good manners are still highly appreciated..
