Winky Wright is D.O.N.E. as a top fighter. I don't care who he fights.

Why do people say Winky is boring? He's been a come forward and very active fighter for years now. Did you see his fight with Taylor? Or Quartey? Or the way he completely outclassed Trinidad and Mosley? And he brought the fight to Hopkins but he was just over his ideal weight.

I think people are writing off Winky a bit too easily here. I know he hasn't fought in a long time and maybe that's why it's easy to discredit him but the guy is a damm good fighter. Maybe age will take a toll but let's see first how he does.

I think it's about time for Winky to just call it quits for good. He's hardly even relevant anymore.

That might be true but it could also be true that he's still got a couple of good years left and is still a P4P talent. His last fight was against Hopkins of all people and he fought at 10 lbs over his ideal weight.

ok but the thing is if he loses, age took its toll. So whats the point from Kessler's point of view? I'm a fan of Kessler and i want him to fight someone like Hopkins but i don't see the point of a WW fight. I mean say Kessler beats Winky, what does that prove about Kessler?

If Winky had been active he would win this fight.

Not fighting in so long doesn't help him.

Kessler will beat Winky in a fight both guys need.

Well, it depends on what Winky after Kessler. If he has some good wins, i think people will consider it a good win for Kessler.

I mean people consider Hopkins win over Winky one of his better wins so why not for Kessler?
