Sounds like he's been on the James Toney diet.

Think Warren would take one for the team and step in there to fight Enzo if Alvarez can't make it?

Probably boost the viewing figures a lot.

The funny thing is, this boy was a 1/4 of a pound over and had to go away and train.

Khan was 3 pound over but made it my removing his lead lined pants.

    :rofl:rofl:lol:

You'd think Enzo would have a bit of pride to say "**** this Frank it's a joke i'm not going out there to slap some fat turd around for 30 secs before he dives on the floor, just call it off."

Bet old Franky boy's getting it in the neck from Murdoch's cronies.

What next? Enzo Maccarinelli to shadow box for 12 rounds for the vacant WBO cruiserweight title? It's wouldn't ****ing surprise me.

Nice quotes from Herbie Hide about Alverez:

Hide said: “This is an absolute joke, the guy has had a total of 11 fights and more to the point he's a light-heavyweight.

“My son would be a better opponent. At least when I box for the WBC eliminator it will be between two worthy opponents with the aim of boxing for a prestigious world title.

“Yeah I was offered Maccarinelli, but at three days' notice. To think this fight will be part of a pay per view show when you can watch Carl Froch boxing on ITV for free is beyond me.

“If Maccarinelli wants to get his chin tested then let's do it with proper notice. Give me eight weeks, in fact give me six weeks as that is all I need to get myself into shape to beat this manufactured Welsh boy.”

    Herbie is not hiding

The “Dancing Destroyer”: “I’m here and ready to go!”

After Jonathon Banks had to pull out of his WBO cruiserweight championship bout against Enzo Maccarinelli in London tomorrow (December 6th) there have been a lot of rumours about Herbie Hide as potential replacement. Recently Maccarinelli and his promoter Frank Warren announced that Herbie firstly agreed to fight the Welshman and then suddenly ‘disappeared’. Now the “Dancing Destroyer” speaks.
“Warren and Maccarinelli have told everybody I would be running away from them – that’s just not true! I’m here and ready to go”, states Herbie. “In fact, Frank Warren knew all the time where I was; I have been in court with him because he still owes me money. Fact is that they offered me the fight only if I dropped the court case in return. I always said that I would take the fight as long as it doesn’t affect any legal issues I have to solve with Warren.”
Hide and Warren met in court on Wednesday. The case has been closed and the verdict is expected for early next year.
“Now that everything is said and done we can get it on”, adds Hide. “I told Warren, the BBBoC and my promoter Ahmet Öner that I would take on Maccarinelli whenever he wants. It’s too bad that they already found some nameless tomato can for tomorrow. But it is only a pleasure deferred!”
Towards his potential opponent Herbie adds: “As far as the ‘Big Mac’ is concerned, I will enjoy eating him alive! I heard Maccarinelli said I was the one guy in boxing he didn’t like. Well, guess what, Enzo, when we meet in the ring I will be the one guy who really tears you apart. If you think David Haye can punch just wait until you feel the power of the ‘Dancing Destroyer’. I will wipe the canvas with your a** wherever and whenever you want.”

You think Maccarinelli v Banks makes the difference between a PPV card and not?

You've gotta think Warren is slowly but surely burning his bridges with these broadcasters, one by one

Sky can't be happy with the last PPV, and I'd be surpised if this one did decent numbers
