Let me be naive Decebal. That's so rare in our times. Tomorrow, I may have to go back to normal. I don't believe Froch when he respects Pascal and I don't believe him when he doesn't. It's all promo. I don't know what's inside of him. I've just seen changes in Pascal and I know him better. At least, that means both fighters are ready so e'll have a great fight to watch!
But what do you guys think about the Froch's weight? Do you think it will be an issue, maybe not against Pascal, who is small and not heavy himself, but against Kessler or Bute?
For all we know, Pascal at his best could be much superior to Froch...both are unproven. I hope you're right and that Pascal will teach Froch a lesson in humility. All will be revealed tomorrow night!:good
I don't have superchannel ans anyway have a supper at home with my wife and some friends. I'll watch the replay at 22h30. I hope nobody will tell me the result before 22h30.
Who cares who wins? Like him or hate him Joe C. has left a gap in SM. Whoever comes out on top will go on to fight someone who was beaten by Joe (or viewed as not as good : Jermain Taylor). Froch can moan all he likes about wanting Joe, it aint gonna happen! He is gonna develop a Jr Witter complex and we all know how far that got Witter.
Pascal is going to win this fight ... Froch can't fight ... he's wild and sloppy and he will lose to the more technically sound fighter.
Too bad you wasted your first post on something you don't care. If I were you, I'd go on a thread about Calzaghe. There are plenty of them. Some people are interested by tomorrow's fight and like it or not, Joe is not there anymore. He left and others will take his place. Boxing won't end because joe is retiring soon.
Froch Did win a bronze as an amateur at the world championships. He has fought skilled fighters before and has skill himself.
Froch around 9th/10th. After slow start Froch systematically ramps up the pressure inflicting a brutal beating on Pascal
Some photos of the weigh-in. http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/galleries/Froch-Big-Fight-gallery-526467-detail/gallery.html
Thats how I see it except I see th ending a bit earlier. Froch likes to have a look at his opponents early then start stepping it up. Pascal can box but I dont think he has the chin to hang in with Froch much beyond the midway point.
Froch has had problems with his knee in the past. He needs to be as mobile as possible with this Pascal guy. Massive test for both and Pascal looks to be in tremendous shape from the weigh in pics but having read some interviews, it doesn't seem like boxing is not a fulltime thing for him. Can any canucks shed any light on this?
