He finished studying last year. He now could be a policemenan. His main activity has always been boxing though. His studies are not the problem, his attitude was. He was not giving all he had to improve because he thought he was already the best. That apparently changed after his last bouts. His training camp, far from home, is supposed to have been perfect. No excuses if he loses.

Who? Pascal? What else would he be doing with this time? He's only been amatuer champoin 7 times in the this country and to my knowledge its not like he has any other hobbies. Isn't Froch into realastate in Nottingham or something?

I know Froch walks around 175, but that is quite low...no? Does it suggest he's in good nick stamina wise? If so, he's not just looking for that one punch - he's looking to box a bit too.

Small refers not to height in boxing, but to how much muscle you carry, naturally. Froch is not a big SMW. Big SMWs like Bute, Kessler, Andrade, Calzaghe...all walk around at 185 lbs. They're all a little bit taller than 6'1 too, for what it matters.

Pascal (like Froch) has yet to fight anyone of real credibility, so i don't know how good his chin is. But you can bet your bottom dollar he won't KO Froch. Froch hasn't fought many huge punchers, but those he has fought (a shot Robin Reid) he has handled well. Pascal of course is no big hitter, so to my mind, if Pascal is to win he will need to give Froch a real boxing lesson, if he doesn't do that, then there is no way he will take a decision in Nottingham!! Froch by late stoppage or points

Weigh-in. Pascal looks bloody good. Pressure's getting to Froch.

Still, I'm going with Froch KO 8.

No fight holds the entire SMW division by the balls like this one right now.

If Froch wins, Pascal is pretty much going to be discarded out of any top 10 notions. It would also announce a very very late (but very real) arrival for Carl Froch in the top 5 of the SMW status with potential to shoot upwards all things considered.

A Pascal win would shake everyone's SMW rankings up. He's kind of been shove aside by the more proven names out there despite the fact that a few years ago, he was being talked up as the potential heir to that throne. A win over Froch would put him back in the thick of things at 168 and reveal Froch as an overrated one dimensional slugger.

Personally I think Pascal's inability to fight a consistent fight over 12 rounds will do him in here. He'll pile up a nice points lead on natural athleticism and then lose focus and get dropped by Froch around the 7th or so. The next two rounds will be very one sided for Froch and then he'll finish him in the 10th.

That's pretty much how I see it too!:good My heart's with the underdog, travelling, less experienced, young fighter, though.
