Maybe it's just me, but when you look at'em like that and at that weight, the size diff. isn't that ****n' dramatic. I'm tellin' yu, I foresee a battle 2morr. night.:bbb
Did anybody notice there wasn't much of height difference between the 2 at the weigh-in? Pacman must of been wearing stilts!
Well, obviously Pacman disagrees with you. Roach himself said that Manny had to kill himself to get down to 135, and said that he didn't want to cut that weight anymore. Did you not notice that Manny gained 12 pounds after the weigh in against Diaz, and entered the ring at 147? Oscar is not much bigger than Manny. Height isn't everything. If it was, then Diego Corrales would have been undefeated. If Oscar beats the #1 pd 4 pd fighter in the world, especially at his advanced age and inactivity.... it would be a HUGE win.
That is because the size difference isn't that dramatic. Obviously, they only weigh 3 pounds apart during the weigh in. I would guess that Manny puts on more weight after the weigh in than Oscar. If Oscar was struggling to get to 147, he clearly wouldn't have overshot by 2 pounds. DLH has been hovering around 145 for a couple weeks. I bet they weigh about exactly the same on fight night. Oscar has a little height, and a big broader in the shoulders. Manny has much thicker legs.
Lewis should be ashamed of himself for fighting Tyson and Tua. Diego Corrales clearly shouldn't have fought anyone. Paul Williams' wins don't mean anything.
Exactly he is looking at the scale becuase he doesnt beleive Oscar can make the weight especially at 145 he was expecting some extra cash per pound now the he sees Oscar made the weight and is in good shape thats even more that Roach has to worry about going into the fight. Roach is worried beleive that, I am sure we will either see Roach stop it or Manny get knocked out cold.
Funny how nobody was acting like Hopkins should be ashamed of himself for fighting Oscar, who was clearly much smaller compared to himself then Pacman is to Oscar. Hell... Oscar is now back fighting two weight classes below where he fought Hopkins, and Hopkins is fighting at 175.
