Pascal-Froch, final thoughts

Pascal looked his usual confident self....nice to know he's not feeling the pressure.

What you saw in Froch that made you think that he was feeling the pressure? I didn't really see much in him that would suggest that. Maybe you know his ways better and could give us an insight. As far as the pressure itself thought it must be pretty huge. It really seems like there's alot of british fight people that are itching to turn this guy into the next bigtime british champoin/money maker. I'd say pascal needs to whip him bad cause he ain't gonna win no close decision.

 

Froch was edgy. He acted up. Reminded me of Hatton against PBF a bit. The Alpha Male never feels the need to intimidate the other guy or to flex his muscles right in the face of the other man, like Froch did. The Alpha Male's relaxed and cool, like Pascal was. I was surprised to see that. Expected Froch to be cool as a cucumber, but clearly, the weight of expectation and the pressure he's putting on himself has got to him.

Spot on. Was not impressed with Carl there, either was Pascal by the looks of things. Round 1 to Pascal.

 

A friend who is in the know when it comes to odds just put a massive bet on Pascal but I just don't know. There are too many questions about both fighters that only the fight will answer. I see Froch throwing more direct shots straight down the pipe but his footwork has never been impressive and that could cause him problems against a better mover who is also in tremendous shape. Going to be interesting to see how the temperaments match up as Pascal seems laid back to the point of disinterest while Froch is intense to the point of snapping. Really looking forward to it and couldn't put the cash down with conviction in either direction.

 

I simply have to say that you play the role of the evil clown perfectly.

Anyways... the worst thing that can happen is that CBC, seeing that a huge number of fans saw the fight on their website, will be more than willing to broadcast the next big fight on it.
