If you count the Trinidad and Mosley victories then it's not close. But yes, Pac has a fantastic resume.

 

I am with the belief tha the avenged his close loss to Shane Mosley. I don't need the judges to tell me who won that fight.

What makes him so great?

The fact that he's fought every great fighter within his reach of his generation. Chavez, Whitaker, Mosley, Trinidad, Hopkins, Mayweather, Vargas, Pacquiao, Quartey among others. Yeah he lost a few, but ignoring "official" decisions, he really beat the majority of them. And yes, I know that he didn't do so convincingly, hence why it went against him a couple of times... but that's also why he isn't rated as one of THE greatest of all time.

A credit to the sport in a time where the best fighters avoid each other. :good

Oscar is older now than Chavez or Whitaker were he moved up in weight and took their titles from them. Considering that he fought...

I think that it is clear what makes Oscar great. He fought all of those fighters, and you can make a case that he won every single fight outside of his loss to Hopkins. He may not have gotten every decision, but you can make a case for him winning every single one of those fights besides BHOP.... who is MUCH bigger than Oscar, than Oscar is to Pac.

Oscar didn't have to fight all of those guys... he could have racked up serious cash just fighting lower class guys like most other fighters do... only Oscar could have made more than those other guys while doing it. Yet, Oscar fought mega fight after mega fight, and now he gets bashed for it. It's pathetic.
