Honestly the more I think about this one the more i think Pascal is going to walk away with it. Style wise its a good match up for him. He's a pure boxer with on pop. He'll get eaten alive by a guy like Andrade but Froch is no Andrade. He's a ploding power puncher. Not a pressure fighter. If Pascal has any kinda skill/will he should beat him. Worse yet Froch seems to be talking like he's going to play the role of the pressure fighter. We'll thats just not his game.

Of course there are too many things that worry me about Pascal. For one his mental side is ****. He's more of an athlete and a show-off then a fighter. He's also shown signs of being brittle. Add in that Froch was a world amateur bronze medalist back in the day and you have to imagine that he is well used to dealing with skilled boxers and you have a recipy for a beat down.

There's confounding factor on bothside but I think were i fall is that there will be a day of reconing for Pascal but it won't be against this particular fighter.

p.s. what are the odds for this fight? I saw a couple of days ago a site posting 2/1 for pascal and 4/11 for Froch. Has anyone seen something more up to date?

It can't be pr, it was an official weigh-in. Of course they can train just before but Pascal can do the same thing.

I fully agree. But I've read he's always nervous the day before a fight.

You're right, Froch is not Andrade at all. He is more kinda sneaky. He's more like Berrio than Andrade. Waiting for the big bang. What happens if he can't place the big one? We still dont know. Maybe tomorrow we'll know.

I'm going with Pacal, the one who doesn't move in slow motion.

That's one thing that makes me lean towards Froch. When Froch talks you know this is what he's been working towards his whole life and he'd be devastated to lose, whereas you don't get that feeling with Pascal. That could be important if it gets tough and it comes down to who wants it more.

Thanks for the footage...he looks pretty much the same fighter. He's got good habits on the inside and he he was even cheap as hell back then...as for Donny looks like he beat up Donny cause he was twice his size...no real skill advantage, although he showed to be more elusive then I've seen him be as a pro. Wonder if thats still there? Or if thats a just a case of having to only go 4 rounds and not having to load up on his punches.
