This is very likely the most idiotic thing I've ever read on here. You don't know who the guys on Duran's resume are so you assume that Pac's is superior. Duran's resume far surpasses Pacquiao's.
I've not read through ll the posts and I've not posted on here for a long time, but in my opinion JMM beat Pac in the 2nd bout. I like Pac, but he tries to overwhelm his opponents and you can't step up a stone and do that against a man who is naturally bigger and stronger. De La Hoya stuck close to Floyd and Floyd was bigger than Pac is now and isobviously far better defensively and the best fighter in the world. Pac will get KOed. Its a silly fight.
If height was everything then Mayweather should have lost to Corrales, Carlos Quintana should have never beat Paul Williams, and Tyson would have lost just about everyone of his fights.:good
point being, oscar is trying to sell the fight as if its a legitame match up...oscar is always gonna be a natural 5 weight division difference over pacman. yeah tyson and tony tucker separated by 7 inches but only by 5 pounds. its a big ****ing deal in this fight....oscar within the last 3 years has fought at 154-160 last 3 years for manny 126-135...... aint the height difference...its the natural size in general...... oscar will out weigh him by 15-20 pounds on fight night
Maybe Shane's a rice queen because it looks more like he's checking out pac's ass thinking "damn, I need a piece of that"
Okay, Oscar has weighed 147 pounds for atleast a month now, he weighed 145 today. Please, tell me. How is De La Hoya going to weigh 165 pounds (according to YOU) by tomorrow? I wait for answer
i dont know...ask gatti how he put on 20 pounds overnight when he fought joey gamache? its called dehydrating yourself to make weight......if he drinks a gallon of water after the weigh in, guess what, thats 7-8 pounds of water. if he eats, guess what, thats more weight...maybe 20 will be a little exagerration, but no less than 15 pounds he will put on......
:goodgreat point on henry armstrong. alot of similarities as ross was on his way down when armstrong beat him same could be said about dlh. his fight with forbes doesn't really say how much he really has in his tank because forbes couldn't get ko'd even by the younger fresher berto. at this point i think manny's the faster fighter and even tho not as skillful, his stamina might make the difference. oscar did face bigger punchers, but i don't think as akward as manny. the safe bet should be oscar with his jab and combos. i haven't seen him use his left uppercut in a while and that would work very effective if pacman ever got passed his jab and get on the inside which would happen at some point. once on the inside, oscar's advantages will quickly disappear and i can see the fresher manny hurting oscar badly to the body and then go upstairs. yea, oscars faced bigger punchers, but doesn't mean he can't get hurt by pacquiao. i'll still go with the shorty tho
Well, his point is that DLH is already at the weight- doesn't need to dehydrate. However, that was BS on 24/7, oscar will be much bigger on fight night.
