Is there anyone here who wants Khan to lose but Froch to win?

Agreed re Khan but as far as Froch goes he can't be that good or he'd probably had gotten there by now. I think he's a decent, European level fighter but he doesn't do anything well enough to be called world class. Calzaghe, Kessler, BHop, RJJ etc are all on a different level. I'd like to see him against Jermain Taylor though.

He's not been avoided by anyone, unless you count Calzaghe and Taylor, which you shouldn't, except for Inkin...but even there, the guy became injured, rescheduled, got the flu with a couple of days left and Froch decided to move on, quite rightly - a show was booked with the TV company.

Froch HAS been choosing and picking!

He fought Tatevosyan less than 8 weeks after Bute beat him up badly, he fought a shot Robin Reid when there were quite a few much better fights out there for him, he avoided Bute in the IBF eliminator, preferring to fight the man Bute just beat - Tatevosyan - instead...

...you cannot say Froch's been ambitious or trying to make the best fights out there; he hasn't...and he should be the last to speak about fighters ducking him, since he never wanted to step up when he had the chance and since he's getting a title shot having never fought anyone in the top 20 yet, with almost 7 years as a pro on the clock! If anything, he should count his blessings and keep shtoom.

I would love it if Khan lost again but ***in is not the man to do it.

Everyone knows the Cobra is going to win.

It could be if they all manned up and fought each other instead of talking ;)

I want ***an to win solely because he's Irish. But if/when Khan stops him I won't be upset or anything. Khan got the kick up the arse he needed and he's moved over to America for some serious training. Something that Froch should do, win or lose tonight. I'd prefer Froch to win over Pascal. Then set up a fight with either Andrade or Bika, either of which would be easily made.

They will soon! Don't forget how long Calzaghe waited before he took on Kessler...

Kessler'll fight some good fights next year, Bute's fought 3 top 10 guys in his last 4 fights, Taylor's going to fight at least one big fight next year, Bika is fighting anyone who is prepared to give him a shot, Inkin will fight his stablemate Balzsay, who is actually very good, Froch/Pascal winner should fight at least one one big fight next year, Dirrell and Ward are in the pipeline...and will want a title shot soon too; quite a few contenders around the bottom Top 10 mark...things are looking up.

No shitty defences for the Cobra he will be ready for the likes of Taylor, Bute, JC, Bhops, Pavlik, RJJ and Haye at catchweight.

I didnt, just copied and pasted the link from the amirfans web site. I guess one of his ass licking female fans must have made it or one of those metrosexual lads with homosexual tendancies that always follow him.

Looks very nice and I guess they spent some time making all those flashing stars etc.

The winner of Froch v. Pascal won't be allowed to choose his next opponent. He will have to fight his mandatory challenger straight away (Taylor) and then, the winner of Murat v. Marcus Johnson. This is how the WBC do things when they hand out a vacant or interim title. So...even if Taylor doesn't fight the winner, the winner will have to fight Murat/Johnson before picking his first voluntary defence.

    RJJ, Haye?:huh

Nah, I know he'll have the WBC strap but that simply improves his bargaining power. It dosen't make him the most wanted man in boxing. Besides, one win over a fellow unproven prospect will not make him king either. Andrade would be a great test of his chin, power, heart and stamina. Bika also, to a lesser extent. Froch just has to be very active for 2009. Unless he gets injured, the man should aim to make about 4 fights next year. Hopefully he'll even go stateside.
