He is left handed, and fights with his best hand forward. Most fighters like that tend to have a weaker off hand. However, Oscar has always used his right hand pretty well. It's always been blown out of the water. He hit Vargas with right hands that sent sweat into the rafters.

Oscar has a bad right hand, IMO. He doesn't turn it over with much. However, he has a great jab and a fantastic left hook, of that there's little doubt. But sometimes in his fights he does not plant his feet on punches, which doesn't do him good.
