Manny is in the same situation Mosley was in 2000. When Mosley was starving himself to make 135, so he decided to fight at his natural weight and skipped 140 all together.

Also, an intangible. Watch for the Clash of Heads. If Manny is coming in, the top of his head may catch Oscar anywhere from an eyelid, to his mouth.

Yes. However, if Oscar had beat Shane that night, he wouldn't have got any credit either. Now, since Oscar lost in a great fight... it is one of Oscar's only BIG fights.

Very pausable, and will most likely happen with the clash of styles and stances. I am glad that you are willing to admit this is a very tough match-up. All I want on here is for some educated fans to actually be able to look a little deeper than a few inches in height. Lord knows how Mike Tyson ever won a fight according to these guys.

Wow, great reply. With boxing knowledge like that, and all of those facts to back up your opinions... I don't see how I can disagree. Well done.

This is a great fight. If Oscar wins it will be based on skill and style.

It won't be based on the fact that Pacman has to have spent half of his career at least at 126 or below?

    Then explain this to me.

Why did Roach admit to Manny KILLING himself to make the lower weight, and why did Manny come in at 147 against Diaz.

    I'll wait.

NO. because if that was the case Jones, Dempsey, Mosley, and many others would not have won when they jumped up in weight.

Just to put this into perspective-the last time Oscar fought at 147 was against Gatti in 2001. The month before that fight, Manny weighed in at 122.
