nothing to do with cash idiot! that limit is very important as DLH is much bigger anyway, and mannys only real chance is DLH getting down to 147 and being a bit drained!

Why have a limit at all so??? why not say oscar you come in at 160 and manny you 135??? because that would be murder......

Maybe Pac should give Oscar some money for coming under :hey just kidding. I believe in being skeptical, but it must have some substance and although Manny doesn't strike me as a dishonest guy that's the only thing going for them because Freddie has been trash talking all along before the fight and the weigh in was recorded live, so if by some reason the scales were tampered the proof should be available in the video (like someone already mentioned). And like it's also already been mentioned I highly doubt all fighters from the undercard were 4 pounds heavier or in it from the beginning just to give Oscar a four pound advantage.

Actually it could have very easily been proved one way or another. Pacquiao and Roach could have voiced their suspicions at the weigh-in, they could have insisted that the scales were immediately checked in the exact condition that they had just been used to weigh the two fighters and they could have had both fighters weighed again if necessary.

But instead of doing any of those things, they chose not to bring it up until hours later when none of those simple checks could be performed. Why would that be, I wonder? :think

there was a significant time gap between the weigh-in of the undercards and the dlh/pac weigh-in. you can probably infer the rest....

yep... i guess pac used two of these scales immediately before and after the official weigh-in to weigh at 146 rather than 142 as the official scale can't possibly be lying. :good

Oh yes but... It was recorded live, (before the actual weigh in, George Lopez was making lame jokes and keeping the crowd occupied) In fact I was watching it live before ESPN aired it and if some kind of Magic trick (or illusion) occurred while tampering or changing the scale the evidence should be found.

yep. but there was no attention directed at the scales as all attention was focused on the comedian during that time.

but like i said before, it won't really be proven there was actual cheating that occurred. but pac said he was 146 and i have no reason to believe that he would lie about that.

Although I am very suspicious, I have to agree with you. It should have been brought up at that exact moment.

This issue is going to get on the news I bet. It is overflowing in the forums.

Will HBO mention it? They SHOULD as it is important. But will they? Probably not. I hope I am wrong.

It is possible. It is also possible they used recalibrated scales so Oscar could save 6 million and come in without having the disadvantage of suffering to make weight.

There is no going back now. Either 1) Freddie and Manny both lied or are so stupid that they use incorrect scales in a matter of such import - making weight for a huge fight where every ounce counts or 2)Oscar cheated

One of those two things has to be true now. Either one of them is outrageous.
