Good luck to Carl and everything but y'know, this Froch guy, as alright as he is, couldn't even live with a past-prime Calzaghe. Hope he boxes to a nice career though.

Yeah, Calzaghe would just have too much speed and variation. Froch might catch Calzaghe and floor him early, but that would almost certainly be by far the biggest highlight of his evening.

No - I'm sure that in a few years time, Froch vs Calzaghe would be awesome but honestly, the guy is still green. No chance of this guy even touching the best guy in Britain between 168-175lbs..

Froch would get Lacy'd, its very obvious. He looks as slow as a turtle at times, against Calzaghe he would be slapped at will.

He deserved his win, the main weapon was his jab and not the power as anticipated.

You can postulate all you like, but the only way we will know what would happen is if they both got in the ring. We know Carl wants it, does Calzaghe want to prove you right?

yea i agree.. froch is pretty one dimensional, he can hit and has a good chin, but does the same thing..

calzaghes a great fighter he'd make it look easy

i think jermain taylor would beat froch

Absolutely, Froch vs Calzaghe would be the ultimate for Froch but in my humble opinion, Froch just wouldn't be able to land a shot. I like Froch, don't get me wrong, but he is nowhere near the level of even a present day-Calzaghe. Even watching Jones-Calzaghe and LHW left me with the feeling that both were quicker and more importantly, SMARTER..... Sorry for being disrespectful but I really fell that Froch is way... way blow that of Britains current best 168-175lb fighter.

froch beat a better fighter in his first world title fight then calzaghe managed in his entire reign. Apart from kessler:) but yes your right.

calzaghe of 2005-6 kills froch, present day its a tough fight, joe has slowed massively, his last outing he was made to look quick because past 4 rounds jones had nowt...

no way calzaghe fights froch now.......high risk, low reward

After that fight I am thinking much more about the exciting posibilities for Froch than how he would fare against a man who is about to retire/never likley to fight him.

It is now abundantly obvious that whether or not Froch becomes head chef of the supermiddleweight kitchen he is going to make it verry hot.

    Froch Kessler anybody?
