Omar Pittman rocked Pascal, but Froch failed to put him away even though he hit him with everything but the kitchen sink. It was a good fight, but Froch won't keep that title long. Neither guy is ready for Taylor, Kessler, or Pavlik. Froch/Andrade or Froch/Bika would be very good fights.
hmmm Pavlik i'm not to sure, Froch has a very good chin and won't be bullied at 168. Pavlik has looked rubbish at 168. Taylor would have to be KO'd which isn't out of the question. Although Kessler beats him quite comfotably enough.
well you're a moron then. but i agree he has bad defence but that's arrogance, born out of confidence in his chin.
Think about frochs low left hand. You have to keep your ****ing hands up against Kelly, or you get knocked the **** out. And you're full of **** saying Pavlik looked bad at 168. He beat Taylor by a very clear UD, and JT is now widely considered top 5 at 168. Pavlik lost 1 fight at 170. He fought an ATG while sick and injured. Furthermore, boucing around divisions is not at all the same as making a permanent move. It's foolish to assume that Pavlik as a blown middleweight will be the same as Pavlik when committed to 168.
errr no he doesnt. last time i checked pavlic curls up in a ball and gets the **** kicked out of him for 12 rounds.atsch
You dudes still overhype these ****ing clowns even after having a no-skill slopstick war of who can take what shots. Froch dont hit hard and he is slow as ****. JT boxes his ass up easy.
I don't think thats the case. If you watch carefully, Froch really didn't catch him as clean as has with past opponents. They were either partially blocked or rolled mostly. He threw the kitchen sink but he didn't land it cleanly too often. I think the power is there, he needs to come up with something better to use it more effectively.
Oh now Kelly was sick and injured against Hopkins LOL. He can't bully Froch, im not saying Pavlik couldn't win of course he could but im just saying it's not a foregone conclusion. Highlight my posts that say Pavlik gets dominated by Froch.... exactly. I'm just highlighting some of Kellys weaknesses that would make it an intresting fight. Of course Frochs got a very good chin, although his shaky defence could be sloved by keeping his hands up more. It's not a forecgone conclusion is all i'm saying.
lol he didn't get the ko, but to say he's got C class power is stupid. pascal showed he didn't have a shaky chin, the opposite in fact. and remember both were undefeated we don't know how far either will go.
Wait what has Kessler done? The only time he stepped up and faced a great fighter he lost badly, just like Pavlik. And the style matchup was way easier for him. Let Kessler beat somebody before you guys keep droning on about how great he is. What fight has proven his greatness?
So in your eyes Froch lost? Because having most of his power punches either partially blocked and/or rolled while at the same time eating a ton of Pascal's punches(thus proving his "great chin") would obviously mean Froch lost the fight. atsch
Kessler didn't lose badly against Calzaghe at all. Watch the fight FFS - 116-112 all day long, he had his moments early and late, but Calzaghe performed superbly.
I didn't say that. I was actually defending Froch's power and giving Pascal credit for his subtle efforts to difuse that power. And shut the **** up.
