Just watched Froch vs Pascal and saw Taylor vs Lacy...

I have to say that with complete independance, and not liking Froch dur to his constant whining about calzaghe, the outcome is clear....

Taylor wouldn;t stand a chance.... not a chance.... he's a buffoon of biblical proportions compared to the best british boxer at 168lbs.

Froch would take out Taylor in about five or six rounds.

Taylor would probably be ahead at the time but the poor puss would be a sitting duck for Froch's power shots when he gets lazy.

This fight should be made, but I doubt Taylor will take it.

Taylor beats him with ease.... it was not even a blowout fight if you watched it, and Pascal was gassed after 5 rounds. Taylor is taller, bigger, stronger , more experienced , faster and technically better than Pascal... but you think Froch beats him ? Taylor's fast hands find their target all night, Froch's hands are way too low, and he throws lazy punches ... Taylor will outjab froch and counter him all night..

Taylor does best against guys who stand in front of him and fight orthodox. Froch fans better hope his next fight is not Taylor, otherwise its Goodbye WBC belt!

Taylor has an inch in height (6' 1" vs 6' 0"), two inches in reach (78" vs 76"). Froch seems slightly larger, naturally, has a better chin and a higher KO %. Taylor has fought much, much better competition than has Froch, although Pascal seems legit and gave a great accounting of himself tonight, IMO.

    Froch is 31, Taylor 30.

    Let's get it on.

Well Taylor is scheduled for a title fight and is Froch's mandatory now. Hope he does go through with it.

Nope. you're wrong, both are same height. 6'1"
Froch hits harder and has a better beard. Taylor has better fundamentals.
    Pick'em fight

Froch is the complete opposite of orthodox whilst Pavlik was and Taylor still lost twice to him.

Froch would just show scant regard for Taylor and bum rush him. If Pascal's bombs couldn't make an impression then Taylor certainly wouldn't.

Froch isn't pretty but is incredibly imposing and impossible to hurt it seems.

By the way, Froch and Taylor are exactly the same height.

Pavlik had too much stamina for Taylor, and Taylor improved immensely after the first fight. Taylor Looked better vs Pavlik the second time in a loss than he did in some of his wins.

Pavlik's workrate is what beat Taylor, Froch is nowhere near as active as Pavlik

Taylor actually has an Inch of Froch, He didn't really bum rush Pascal all that much.. Taylor would not get Bum rushed, and if Froch did rush him... he is gonna eat some mean double jabs in doing so..

I mostly only expect you brits to highly favor Froch in a Froch v Taylor fight... but thats to be expected.

I like froch , I like his style... he is my type of fighter... but he is much too slow and has too many defensive flaws to beat a guy like Taylor

I'm not sure. I actually thought Taylor was looking pretty good in the 2nd fight but then seemed to back off a bit when he got tagged a bit .... could be down to stamina but I felt he started being a bit safety first.

I have to agree with McManama, it is a pick em fight because Froch doesnt have Pavlik workrate.

Now, Pavlik beat Froch anyday of the week.

As an orthodox fighter who was outboxed by Taylor but outworked him.

Pavlik's workrate is at least twice what Froch's is, btw.
