I'd favor Froch with Pavlik at 168 cuz Pavlik is just awful when going up in weight.I'd still favor Taylor to beat him but by a slight margin. It's basically a 50-50 fight.

Put it this way, when Froch landed in round 9 (i think?) he hurt Pascal. That showed he had the power to KO Pascal, but that he wasn't utilising it well enough to actually score the KO. It's fairly clear.

I've told you the reasons for it. Froch was landing, but not cleanly enough. They are still scoring shots.

There are also two people in a fight. Just because Froch didn't land cleanrly enough to KO Pascal, Pascal wasn't doing much at all for a long period in the middle round, and hence Froch takes the rounds regardless.

Sir, did you just see the fight i saw?? They both landed clear power shots to eachothers targets. They both showed great heart and granite chins...

Yep, I saw the fight nice and clearly.

Froch landed, but not as cleanly as I've seen him do in the past. This is the reason he didn't KO him.

Look, he hurt him with a single shot in one of those rounds. You really think if Froch was detonating full power bombs cleanly every time he swung he wouldn't have KO'd him?

Pascal did some subtle things in there that just took the sting out of them enough.

I think Froch would beat Taylor and would put big vCash on it. I think Froch vs Pavlik would be close; both big punchers, Pavlik with the superior boxing skills but Froch with the much better chin.

taylors lol his a joke would be a miracle if he fights froch.....as for pavlik you can forget about him guy couldnt even beat a 43 yr old..froch KO taylor 8-9........froch KO pavlik 5-7. i think froch hits harder than both, however that being said, pascal did have a great chin and was awkward to hit cleanly cos he kept dipping low. taylor and pavlik are embarassment to americans lol

did you watch the fight because i agree that not many of the power punches were landing on the button but he was hitting with that jab all night and setting up noce shots that were scoring but not hitting with full power behind them due to landing on the top of the head or a glancing blow.

he was smashed around alot but pascal was not active enough to get the desicion. it is not good landing the cleaner and more effective punches if you only throw 10 a round and your opponant is throwing 50 shots that hit but d not do as much damage.
