Don't believe the fight was a fix, but Joe Calzaghe is still P4P number one.

Oscar has been campagning at LMW for some time, even at 154 he has to weight drain. For the fight last night he had to move down a division at an advanced age. Not an easy thing to do. Oscar probably had to embrace anorexia to make weight.

This win for Manny is on par with Tarver and Johnson's over Roy Jones Junior. If you want to put Pacman at number one, by the same logic you must have had Glen Johnson at number one for beating an aging, weight drained Roy Jones.

Joe Calzaghe could beat Vitali and Wlad on the same night, so long as they too drained weight and made 175.

Joan Guzman vs Manny would be a dream fight for me and many other boxing fans and it wouldn't be impossible for Guzman to squeeze out a decision. On that basis he cannot be number one. Joe Calzaghe or Joan Guzman are the number one in the sport.

    looool

If Joe even dreams of being half as good as Pac he better wake up and give himself one of those trademark slaps.

manny has fought how many current and past p4p fighters?

Whenever Calzaghe grows a pair of balls and goes up 2 divisions to fight Evander Holyfield you can make your claim

Firstly, the nature of the victory

Secondly, the fact that Manny is naturally a flyweight

Thirdly, the fact that his opponenent cheated on the scale

Fourthly, the fact that he's already proven his skills

Fifthly, that he's had lots of tough fights

All set him above Calslappy. Joe's great, we all know, but he's not as dynamic, has only really had two tough fights whereas Pac has fought a PEAK Barrera, PEAK Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez TWICE, David Diaz, and (yes, a past it but still strong and skilled) Oscar de la Hoya.
