Pacquiao is a great, great fighter but Oscar wasn't even 50%. It can't be classed as a masterpiece due to Oscars performance. If Hatton fights Pacquiao at 140 with home advantage, I see the fight as a complete tear-up, both getting hurt/cut and either a TKO for whoever isn't cut the worst or a UD to whoever trained the hardest.

Pacquiao/Hatton has classic written all over it.

I agree, although Pac is just so much faster I think Ricky will struggle to catch him except maybe in the corner

of course it was a masterpiece..

This is the same Oscar who beat Forbes 119-109 a few months ago. The same Forbes who gave Andre Berto a tough fight.

Pacquiao demolished him. Stop taking credit away from him.

That being said PAc vs Hatton is a very different fight. Hatton is a beast at jrWW

it would be a very good and interesting fight. a fight which could bring boxing to another level. PBF vs Pac is also good but "money" must come out of retirement first.

The home advantage means nothing. Pac has proven that time and time again against Mexican fighters who have had the majority of the crowd's support. As for the actual fight I don't see how Hatton avoids Pac's straight left hand. He had problems with Lazcano who hurt him twice with the left and Pac is both faster and hits harder than Lazcano.

And who could forget Mayweather clobbering him with the check left hook. :deal

Agreed, and Hatton vs. Pacquiao had classic written all over it before De La Hoya tried to cockblock the situation. For that, he got what he deserved.

Hatton can't fight southpaws, when Manny beats him it is only due to a stylistic mismatch, not Manny being anywhere near Calzaghe's level P4P.

Manny takes Hatton to school and proves once again why he is the p4p #1 guy

After Hatton got rescued vs Lazano and Oscar demolished DLH I would say

Manny beats Hatton anywhere but England.

Ricky will be allowed to wrestle and maul Pac in England. They have been pulling this **** for awhile. If it gets bad on the inside for Hatton, they break them up. If its going his way, they let him continue.

If Pac starts to hurt him, you can be damn sure we will get a shoelace break or an uncalled for low blow warning, or a cut check, something.

I like Hatton and respect him for having a very good resume, taking some very tough fights and being entertaining but I don't think Pac should fight him in Manchester....no way.

Fight him in Vegas though, ok. And I am sure Ricky would take this fight. IT is a fight he can win but I don't think he will. Pac too elusive and too quick and I think he hurts Ricky a lot sooner than Lazcano had him hurt.

Pac can only fight what's in front of him. When have you ever seen Oscar that uncompetitive? He allowed Pac to look fantastic but all power to Pac, he's the man.

Ahh, I see. So even if Mr. Bean delivers a check left hook, Hatton gets clobbered? Urm...

I'm not saying Hatton will win but it will be a war and Hatton at 140 is a massive threat to Pac. It should be a classic.

He can. He's beaten every southpaw he's faced.

Even Mayweather didn't school Hatton. Mayweather had to fight Hatton's game and win on the inside, such is Hatton's will at forcing the fight. I'm trying not to nuthug here, I love both Hatton and Pac as entertaining fighters which is why I'm more excited about this matchup than Hatton/Mayweather.

This would definately be a difficult fight for Manny. But tell me WTF has hatton done to deserve a fight with Pac Man? This really annoys me, yes he's popular , yes he sells tickets, but doe he really deserve Pac Man . JMM or Money Mayweather next please.
