Hmmm, interesting question. One the one hand, he looked so ****ing shot last night, that the days of the $54.95 HBOPPV, call your local cable operators NOW! are the **** over for his ass. I didnt pay for the non title fight last night, the way I didnt pay for the Hopkins-Pavlik farce. I am sick and tired of GBP ****ing over the public, and HBOPPV as well. There are fights out there that are in no way, shape or form, PPV worthy. And the ones that are, need decent undercards on them. All those Undercard Fights last night were about as pathetic as Oscar's legs past the 4th. Oscar de la Hoya and his advisor, Richard Schaefer were sad little puppies last night, but dont feel too badly for Oscar and his warped face, because on Monday Morning, he and Schaefer are going to get driven by Bernard, in the Big fine limo, over to the First National Bank of Los Angeles, to deposit a nice fat 45 million dollar check, and Oscar will have an icepack over his eye as he tells the Teller, which account to put it in.

Now, as far as his future. Oscar is still a big seller LIVE. In Vegas, probably not anymore, as oddmakers now know he is as susceptible as a little Bambi out in the woods with the Green Gargantua from "War of the Gargantuas" running around. But at the Staples Center, where his grinning statue still stands, regardless of last night, he can still EASILY sell out the Building. HBO WCB would be happy to have a "Grand Finale" (Hey, I just thought of the monicker for the fight, think GBP will cut me a check?lol)....so, that being that, he needs a Grand Finale opponent. Lets see, who gets the lottery?

    1. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.....wow. I may have been wrong about the PPV stuff. Oscar and Arum will join hands and dance in jubilation when they figure that they can bilk the Boxing Public one more time, maybe for 49.95 this time! Jr. and Sr. want it, it will be a huge seller among Mexicans and Mex-Americans, and would be huge either on Cinco de Mayo or 16th de Septiembre.

    2. Sergio Mora. Based on his and Oscar's last outing, this would be competitive.

    3. Any one of the non descript Title holders at 154, any Organization, except Forrest. The 154 WBO Champ, the 154 IBF Champ, or the WBA 154 Titleholder.

    4. Sugar Slave anyone? If Slave loses, to Margarito, as I hope he does, I'd say a revenge match in September would do well at the Staples.

    5. This one also proves my point WRONGO!!!! Tito Trinidad. Though at least it would be a co promotion with DKP, so the Undercards would be good, it would easliy be at LEAST 55 dollars. And it should be at 160 or so. OScar wants it, Tito wants it, 50-50, we kick his Golden Ass again!:good

Somewhere out there, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. was laughing his ass off last night. :deal

fact is you missed a great display of boxing from a great once-in-a-generation type fighter because you didn't wanna pay for a GBP card.

watching it after knowing the result just isn't the same

Oscar needs to hang it up. He's done. The next guy he faces is seriously gonna put a beating on him. If Pac did it imagine what Margo would do.
