Where is all of the common sense?

    It seems as though as last night's fight, everybody here have totally lost their second of perspective. I'm seeing threads pitting Margarito vs Pacquiao, with posters actually giving Pacquiao a chance whilst keeping a straight face. People are saying he beats Mayweather Jr, and that Pacquiao could knock Cotto out at 147, his strongest weight.

    Am I imagining all of this stupidity?

    pac fans are the worst of all.
    they are 90% glory supporters unlike pbf fans who are mainly americans supporting there countryman and calzaghe fans mainly brits supporting there countryman.
    pac fans only follow him because he is a winner.
    if he lost five or six fights in a row they would be all off the band wagon unlike other boxing fans with other boxers.

    You guys need to chill out and realize this happens EVERYTIME a major fight takes place. Give it a few days and let the dust settle...

    Beats Mayweather, why not? Not that far-fetched at all based on their recent performances.

    I think he has attributes to keep himself more than competitive for a good while with Margarito. You gotta catch the guy to knock him out.

    whats beyond common sense is thinking that Pacquiao will beat the **** out of Oscar for 8 rounds and win by TKO. So get off your high horse.

    What are you talking about? Pac fans follow him because he's an amazing fighter who has an exciting style. He's remained humbled and is very classy. He respects the game and his opponents. He trains hard and always gives his best. What more can you ask for?

    him beating hatton and mayweather isnt that crazy but him campigning at 147 is because he is NOT a welterweight

    Okay, so now he's beat a shot fighter in Oscar, he now beats Margarito, Cotto, and Mayweather jr. HOLY ****.

    This is to much. Can somebody please put this right.

    Exactly. Manny surprised a lot of people last night, so it's understandable that the hype train is a little out of control today. This is not to downplay his victory, though. He performed amazingly and deserves all the credit in the world.

    But, I would think even his most diehard fans expect him to drop back down in weight and not stay at welter.

    Doesnt matter who he beats ..who he loses to..who is shot..who is good, who is bad..what weight class.

    What matters is who is on top of the boxing world now and who truly is one of the greatest boxers and human beings this sport has ever seen.
