Can't believe the amount of people picking Pac. There is no way that you can compare the 154 de la Hoya that fought PBF and the shell of a fighter that took on Pac at 147 last night so any comparison there is completely erroneous. I also think that stylewise it suits PBF slightly more.

I do think that it would be a competitive fight but I see Floyd pulling away to win a comfortable UD. I actually think that it's the perfect fight for PBF to showcase his skills. It's the type of fight where PBF would really have to suck up some pressure, grit his teeth and pull through. I think that the most exciting thing about this match is that it's a fight between two fighters who quite simply always find a way to get the victory.

i guess i am leaning for pacman i can doubt ever again. I think Pac is going for legacy he is just to humble to admit it. And for once I want to see the good guy become the greatest.

I would think Mayweather would take a warm up fight but you never know.

I think manny would hit mayweather like nobody could. You got to have some sort of resemblance of speed to beat money. Manny would test mayweather. Enough with these wide UD crap it aint happening.

I'm glad to hear he's still taking care of himself and keeping in shape- that definitely helps. I still think his body might be used to carrying 147 at this point, so even though he could drop the weight, I think he might not want to and would rather make the fight at 147 or a catchweight. Floyd's consistently in great shape, and taking 7 pounds off would be tough to do without losing muscle at his age. That's the reason most guys don't move down with much success after moving up; it might not affect him at all, but since Floyd's calling the shots, I don't think he'd want to put himself at a possible unnecessary disadvantage just for the sake of having it look better on paper- it's the same reason he wanted the Hatton fight at 147 instead of 140. When you're the one being chased, you've got the leverage. I think it'd be a similar situation with Pac.

I base this on nothing more than idle speculation, of course. Just my 2 cents.

I don't think it'll come down to speed at all. It is a fight between two guys at the top of their game and it is sure to ba a classic. I think it'll essentially boil down to who has the better skills and while Pac has improved immeasurably PBF still has the better skills. I just feel like it would be a perfect fight for PBF to be truly tested and to prove his mettle and his greatness.

That's my opinion-can't completely write off Pac but I just think it'd be a step too far for him.

I dont think cutting 7lbs would kill him, but thats just me. But the fight would be at 147. Pac showed he was fine with the weight.

But take this into consideration. Floyd is a huge fan of Pacquaio, and was at quite a few of his fights cheering him on.

Interesting...I knew he'd been to a couple fights, but didn't know he was a big fan of Manny. Do you think that would make a fight between them more or less likely?

this fight should be at 140 but i bet mayweather wants it at 147 he wants all the advantages. We gotta wait and see.

Im not really sure. You can take it either that Mayweather has been eyeing him or just a fan.

    Really hard to say.

One could argue, Pac just beat the **** out of DLH at 147 so why shouldn't the fight take place at 147?
