if you are a big morales fan, you should be glad and root for pacquiao in his future fights. the more pacquiao achieves, it would make morales' victory over pac look more impressive.
The only thing that separtes Pacman and Marquez after two fights is ONE point. There should be a third fight and Marquez is publicly requesting it.
Marquez is already awesome and doesn't need this fight to look good. He's the best Manny's ever faced.
I can honestly tell you that I Think Pac won the first fight.. the second fight I thought was a draw..From the heart bro...
Styles make fights, and Marquez's style has always proven to be troubling to Pacquiao. But Manny's legacy will rank much, much higher than that of Marquez due to the fact that Manny has accomplished so much more outside of their two encounters. Pac has managed to convincingly beat Barrera, Morales, and ODLH whereas Marquez barely beat Barrera. Do you think Marquez could annihilate Morales and De la Hoya like Pacquiao did? We will never know because while Pacquiao continued to face bigger, stronger opponents, Marquez chose to wander in the shadows contemplating another crack at Pacquiao. Even if Marquez were to beat Pacquiao in a third matchup, Pacquiao's overall record will still overshadow Marquez's. But considering Pacquiao's significant improvements in his last two fights, a Marquez victory in a rubbermatch seems more and more unlikely.
i said it was close, but some jmm hardcores like to think that pac was battered from pillar to post. i am for this fight since this will be #1 and #2 p4p fighters against each other. the best of the best. i just think that a pac-hatton fight seems more favorable for GBP and TR at this point.
I'm a fan of both, just hope Pac leaves the game without finishig like El Terrible.Pac doesn't have much more left to prove.
No,it's not,he has already proven himself as a HOFer,ATG and legend,he has to take Hatton,JMM again and maybe Floyd and another LW.Don't think he will fight on more than 4-5 fights.
Pac now and Pac then are two entirely different fighters. I'm a big Morales fan, but he caught Manny at the perfect time in their first fight. I'd say the rest of the trilogy pretty much proved that.
JMM had his chance against Manny at 130 and he couldn't do it. Fighting at anything above that would only favor Pac even more.
i somehow agree cause pac then was still a little one-dimensional and was just relying on pure athleticism to get by tough oppositions. couple that with pac moving up to 130 just after moving to 126 from 122. but we cannot ignore the fact that morales is the most recent fighter that clearly beat pac. the last two time was when he was a weight-drained teenager. of course the close SD-loss of jmm looks equally impressive since he was fighting a much-improved (skillwise) pacman.
