darchinyan was going to get schooled and look like a fool and then pacquiao was going to get hurt bad and be in serious danger. now for starters i thought pacquiao was going to have trouble and would be unable to hurt oscar. but because i'm a fan i thought darchinyan had a good chance but might just get beat on points to mijares, so i'm not any smarter than the experts. where did all these experts slip up in their analysis of such big events, and so close to one another. did they get carried away with the crowd and not take a fair approach to darchinyan and pacquiao's chances of victory. it wasn't like they were both getting a beating and got a lucky punch causing a ko, they made all the analysts look silly.
You know the big differnece ive noticed is that these two Power guys have been working hard on improving there whole game and the rest of the boxers out there should take note. Darchinyan's perfomance was one of my favourites of the year and now Pacman well lets just say us the fans are being treated to some great fighting lately. Isnt it great with PBF gone. LOL
Vic put a guy that's supposed to be in his prime look very ordinary and then to sleep. Very impressive performance. Best i've seen this year.
Both can be extremely determined fighters, and all the technique in the world can come undone against determination, look at Margarito too. When a fighter comes to fight, rather than just win their victories are that much more impressive becasue they have allegedly overcome more. Have to say I did not pick Manny to get the Ko but thought he'd outwork Oscar if it went the distance. I was always backing Vic though.
