Without question Jones, a faster younger fighter was De La Hoya's worst nightmare. Put him in the Mayorga again and he will look like a god.

Gotta disagree,Jones Jr showed some decent hand speed and never gave up till the final bell. Oscar was a disappontment.

No doubt Oscar quit but Jones has faded bad. He couldn't even hit Calzaghe when Calzaghe stuck his face right in front of him. It was sad. Like I said, put Oscar in with Mayorga and he looks like world beater.

    Jones was impressive against Trinidad.

And De la Hoya was impressive againt Mayweather and semi impressive against Forbes. Jones was not impressive against Tarver, Johnson and the two scrubs he fought after. Trinidad was fighting way past his best weight and was an inactive fighter.

Surely you`re not claiming Oscar put up a better performance against Pacquaio than Jones did against Calzaghe?

You just can't assess how shot they are without looking at how far they fell.

Jones went from being the ****ing KING OF THE WORLD to looking like he was stuck in mud.

De la Hoya was NEVER - I repeat - NEVER a beast by any stretch of the imagination. He was just loved for being such a gentleman or whatever. He was a really good fighter. Nothing more.

Jones has fallen WAY faster than De la Hoya. De la Hoya isn't "shot" he's more like "fizzled"

Oscar was fighting at a weight that he hasn't ben at in years against the best fighter in the world. Pac more than likely felt better than he ever did in the ring based on not having to kill himself to make weight. Oscar's performance was poor but he is nowhere near as shot as Roy. This is the first time Oscar has looked shot, while Roy has been washed up since 04.

    PACMAN shot OSCAR!

pacman made oscar look more shot than he actually was... let's see oscar's next fight if he is indeed shot.

RJJ was shot a long time ago...
