They now rank Carl Froch above David Haye.

I'm sorry, but beating an unproven, flashy prospect for a vacated title, (and looking leakier than a broken sieve while doing it) does not constitute knocking out a seasoned undisputed champion in his own back yard. (then unifying)

Froch is a worthy number 4, granted. And yes he is undefeated, and he has a lovely WBC belt. But the guy has never fought a beltholder (current) yet alone a true champion.

He picked up a vacated belt that's all, if it had been a WBO belt would there really be all the fuss? I dont think so, honestly. If anything just derision, yet is there really any difference?

Plus his resume is very poor. And yes, he will pose a threat to most top fighters with his chin and power, but anyone can see he will get destroyed against the elite, he is way to slow and easy to hit.

I'm not bashing Froch, but the BBC, their crappy coverage of boxing is pissing me off more and more.

BBC dont know **** about boxing. It is pointless going on there if you are hardcore boxing fan. Their boxing page abd rankings are garbage.

I think there both great and I love them both - and to be honest i dont care for BBC's opinion on boxing at the end of the day.

    You know why?

    And here's the irony:-

The binned off Froch & Haye to spunk their £1m budget on Fraudley Harrison.

Nearly all of Carl & David's fights where on BBC originally - even the world amateurs in Belfast.

I think Pascal is better than anyone Haye has beaten to be honest.

Haye has never beaten anyone of note. Mormeck was ****ed in the head before the fight.

I would have Haye second and Hatton third before Froch.

Witter is clearly a better fighter than Nicky Cook. He won a paper title, so what.

    The rest isn't too bad.

IMO Haye is better than Froch. He was undisputed cruiserweight world champion and has made a succesful start to his heavyweight career. Froch has been fighting at a lower level until winning his WBC super-middleweight title.

If they were able to meet each other at a similar weight Haye would knock him out, as Froch's defence is so porous.

It doesnt just take into account 1 fight though. Hayes fought Mormeck, Gurov, Monte, Maccarinelli and Fragomeni. Name Frochs 5 best wins and then ask yourself again why he should be above Haye.
