Its still not who he should fight... He should still be fighting Margarito williams or Cotto, THEN Pac....

Is pac a huge event? yes.... its still not who he should be fighting.

I'd give him full credit if he beats Pac.

But I do hope he handles other unfinished business while he's at it.

This is just what I wanted to say, except consice and to the point. Good post!

Would be a great fight v Pac and he would get credit for taking it but makes his decision to "retire" instead of take on the top welters look a bit suspect, IMO.

if Floyd beat Paul Williams it would be because Williams was so weight drained from coming back down to 147, plus a Cotto left over (Quintana) beat Williams..

See I am good at this..

People dont understand that no matter how long a fighter fights for their will always be elite fighters he hasnt faced, as soon as a top fighter is beat their is ALWAYS someone to step into his place whot he fighter in question wont have fought, they are now considered elite.

So does Floyd need to carry on for another 5-10 years till he gets beat fighting every single fighter then the fighter who steps into their place and is considered elite?

Were Paul Williams and Cotto elite fighters when he was beating Gatti, Corralles, Castillo and all of these elites, NO... so why should he stay active if he wants to retire get over it man.

Incorrect. He is choosing to fight the smaller man, but he's not a ***** IMO, he is choosing the bigger fight with the bigger name and the bigger purse and the greater impact on his legacy.

Im merely pointing out, you would talk **** on him for fighting a guy who is "smaller" than him but not by much, but you would rather him fight your hero, who if you compare Margo to him, Floyd is WAY smaller to Margo than Pac is to Floyd.
