Jermaine Taylor is Froch's mandatory so there should be nothing stopping this fight from happening in 2009 unless Taylor doesn't fancy it.

How do you see this one going?

I'd take Froch to stop Taylor.

i do not see this fight going to purse bids.

taylor is going to say quickly whether he wants the fight or not.

i hope kesser v taylor in the march date is the one that happens.

if the fight took place , taylor wins points.

Taylor should out-box him to a UD but with Froch's power you never know, we saw Taylor stopped by Pavlik who I don't think hits any harder than the Cobra. Plus if Taylor tires late on like I think he did in both Pav fights and gets cornered it could well be lights out!

i'll pick taylor to beat froch anyday but i'd rather see froch - kessler as a battle to earn the right to fight taylor.

taylor's achieved more than both of them combined and a froch - kessler fight makes a taylor fight more legitimate for my mind.

How does explain Taylor avoiding a fight with Froch?Taylor could of fought him for the title but fought an eliminator for the same title?!?

I think Taylor would outbox Froch to a UD but I wouldn't rule out a Froch KO either.

Would be a decent fight, but my money would be on Taylor by UD.

Taylor is WAY to FAST for Froch. However, I think politics, location, and money will get in the way of this one. Dibella already stated that if Pascal won, JT would fight him in Canada because it would make sense financially. He also said the only way a Froch fight would make money is if it was in Great Britian, and he won't ask Jermain to travel across the pond. He can make bigger fights right here in the US.

Yep -- you're right. Even if JT beat Kessler, we'd still have Froch fanatics claiming Jermain ducked their boy.

I think Taylor will avoid Kessler and Froch for now and try make a fight with Bute.
He has no real reason at all to avoid Froch if Froch would fight in the US - a WBC belt for Taylor would set him up for big unification fights. Whoever said Kessler should fight Froch for the right to fight Taylor.....what's that about?? Taylor's done nothing at SMW except beat Lacy in less a style than Calzaghe did.

IMO Kessler is much much more of a challenge than Froch so I don't think anyone could claim that and be taken seriously!

I can see Froch landing flush on Taylor and KOing him.
