i dont know if it's just me or what, but i've never seen him shake like he did when weeks was giving oscar his instructions....i felt really bad for him. not only that, but as far as careers go, he's in his prime and i would really hate to see that disease ko him from training other fighters....:-(
I am worried about Freddy aswell, I really felt bad about him shaking in the post- fight interview. He looked so damn happy, he was as big a winner as Pacquiao that night. :bowdown
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6m5uqROgZQ A good video about it, Michael J Fox is a solid guy. People in this country need to open their eyes about new technologies that could possibly help to find cures and treatments for these types of conditions.
Parkinson's is a degenerative neural disease, so it is expected and normal for the condition to worsen with age. Chronic stress may also expedite the course of the illness, so in my view, if training boxers is a big source of stress, Freddie should consider retiring for his own well being. Let's hope stem cell research can alleviate this terrible illness in the next 20 years.
obviously he is getting worse...it is degenerate disease ...still fair dues to the guy, hes fighting it and making a great profession
I did notice him shaking more, I dont know if it was just because it was a close up but I am sure I havent seen that before. I hope it does not get worse and that he can continue training.
you can't regenerate nerve cells. Parkinson's can be controlled with medications. I don't wish that disease on anybody. Its a really debilitating (sp) illness.
