On that note, it seems the word on the street is Hatton will indeed be getting a new trainer... Bobby Rimmer as it is rumoured in another thread?

What do people make of this development? Can it aid Hatton in the final stretch of his career? Or will it make any difference at all?

Think Bobby Rimmer previously worked with Billy Graham and Ricky Hatton for years IF it is him.

Also trains Michael Gomez and a couple of the VIP boxing fighters.

TFFP, told ya Man Utd didn't need Berbatov and he wasn't a goalscorer.

Read back through the first 7 pages and cringe.

He's only just got here you clown. He took a while to get going at Spurs too.

I've every confidence he will improve United and score lots of goals. Congrats, you are doing great after a few games! Just like United were looking like **** early last season and won the double.

Patience is a virtue. People like you are the reason every mother****er gets sacked because he lost a game.

He's dreadful and has ruined the Man Utd attack.

As I said, you just didn't need him, he brings nothing new. His work rate is pathetic.

It's a travesty that he keeps out a player as good as Tevez.

He is well on his way to being another Veron, a luxury that you don't need and can't afford.

I don't think Man Utd needed Berbatov - but as he has done little I hope he plays every week for the remainder of his career.

I wonder how many Man Utd fans have actually ever been to a game...........

Yeah, he's well on his way after 15 games and 6 goals, including Europe. Hardly setting the world alight, but again, you expect the drama queens coming out of the woodwork, this is what is wrong with modern football.

Ultimately I will be proven correct, as always. I am over 80% correct in boxing according to statistics and 100% correct in football.

I would prefer to be 100% correct in boxing, as I'm disillusioned with soccer.

I will say that Michael Carrick is one of the top 3 midfielders in the league, despite people that don't watch him that often thinking he's crap. How he is not in the England team more regularly is beyond me.

    13 league games, 2 goals.

Against Stoke and West Brom, the 3rd goal in each game, irrelevant goals really against poor sides.

    He really has flopped.

If you're 100% correct in football predictions, stick your predictions up for the next round of premier league fixtures and we'll see :thumbsup

I am disillusioned with footy, much prefer rugby and cricket to be honest.

Carrick befuddles me, sometimes he looks top class, his passing is excellent. But then I look back to the Chelsea game at SB last year - Essien and Ballack totally overran him and whoever was with him.

He does seem a bit lightweight to me and doesn't score enough goals - he is still better than Hargreaves though, whom I think is little better than Championship level, as well as being injury prone.

England have plenty of good centre midfielders - finding the correct combo is tough.

It's doubtful he's in the top 10, let alone top 3.

Liverpool and Chelsea alone have 3 between them that are better than him.

I may do that. But we realise you can't compensate for Rory Delap throwing the ball into the net from 47 yards. Or the keeper diving the wrong way and blaming modern balls. Or Rob Styles seeing a phantom penalty. These are the only ways I can see me getting results wrong, but it happens. It's not like predicting boxing.

My predictions for now are that Berbatov in time will become a huge success.

Michael Carrick continues to be one of the best midfielders around, and is ignored by Capello.
