    But it your boy will never be the P4P #1 fighter in the sport EVER. I know you guys were hoping to god that Pacquiao would lose so you can throw your boy in the #1 slot but sorry not gonna happen.:hi:

    I think most Calzaghe fans are delighted that he is generally a consensus top 3 guy. During the wilderness years between 02-05 when it appeared his career was going nowhere we never could have imagined he would have reached the level he has.

    He may still have major detractors but very few do not give him credit as a a world class fighter even if they question his resume.

    What's the point in this thread? Seems a bit childish.

    I'm a Calzaghe fan and I enjoy watching him but why on earth would I be sad or even care that he wasn't p4p no1?

    only the brain dead idiots like yourself who give a **** about a mythical list. p4p doesnt mean ****. its the boxing aquivelent of top trumps. and i dont know about you but i stopped playing that game at school.
    my favorite boxer of all time was nigel benn (you probably dont even know who that is)because he was an animal. i dont even know if he was ever in the p4p list and i couldnt give a ****.
    most normal boxing fans watch there favorite fighter for one reason or another not because there p4p No1.
