    It certainly is close Boppa.

Just because he fought less names over a smaller weight range does not mean it isnt close.

Quality over quantity mate. Pac fought in more weight divisions but he never fought the best at the time at fly, superbantam or lightweight on his way up. He was a merely titlist at these weights not a undisputed champ (though he probably could have been at 122 and 135).

Jofre is clearly better then anyone on Pac's resume. Especially taking into account that Jofre was not yet 30 when Harada beat him and he would go on to win another world title nearly 10 years after losing his bantam one.

Harada also holds a win and by accounts has a disputed loss to an alltime top 20 flyweight in Kingpetch.

People make to much about numbers in boxing..How many defences of a paper title, how many weight divisions a fighter won a title in. People tend to be more impressed by neat inflated records rather then really analysing them..It should matter more WHO beat not how many you beat.

Pac will retire with a better resume then Harada IMO. But it is still close now, if you really look at it.

Wrong, Pac fought the best in fly, sasakul was the linear weight champ. He fought anyone at 122 and was the biggest beast at that weight class during his reign. he fought the best in 126, barrera has just beaten hamed and barrera is a legend himself. afterwards, he drew with marquez, the only other great champion at featherweight. at 130, he moved up to face the best champion and that was erik morales, there's no other top dog at 130 at that time. before he left the division, he fought the linear champ Marquez and won by SD. next year he'll fight the linear champ at 140.

    I dont think so.

Too Sharp was champ at the same time, though there is a case for Sasukal because he beat Ebihara. I just dont feel he was.

no question. it has to be pac now after what he has accomplished this year. getting two more belts, another linear championship and beating dlh in a welter superfight while climbing up 3 weight divisions in one year.

The argument certainly still exists for Harada, especially if you give him the win in the rematch against Kingpetch and the first fight against Famechon, both of those 'losses' being called robberies by those who have seen the fights. It's very close as of now.

Another good win for Pac should put him over though.

I suggest you look again mate and closely...Right now you can argue that Pac may have the better resume, I dont have a problem with that but to say it isnt close is waaaay off the mark.

At the end of the day though in my book Pac will retire with the superior resume...He just needs a few more wins to push him over the line.
