    Fightnews ranking as of today:

    All of the top 5, and 10 out of the top 15 HW's are Russian origin :huh

    Best USA HW's are Arreola and Minto :patsch

    Yep, me too.

    two RUS, two UKR and one UZB in the top five.

    If this thread is just pointing out the proliferation of HW boxers from countries that used to be part of the former Soviet Union, well, this is old news. The top10/15 has been bunged up with them for years now.

    Until American Heavyweights learn to come into fights in shape and not 20 pounds overweight it will stay that way. American Heavyweights have become lazy.

    If you count Klitrchkos as Russinas you should count Gomez as American since
    there is only 50 miles from Cuba to Florida and most Miami population are Cubans.

    If you think about language differences .... I dont see the difference between speech of Peter and Toney either
    ... so Peter has the same claim to be native American a as Wlad native Russian.

    I think Eddie Chambers beats Arreola or Minto easily............he's the best American HW right now.

    When this changes HW boxing might be the marquee division of the sport again.

    These guys have had a few years of domination, and still....nobody cares.

    The champ doesn't have to be American, just look at how Mexicans own the lower weight classes...and they are thriving.

    It's just that these guys from the east are boring as ****.

    Vitali is the only exciting one, but he's a *****.
